TAB Highway Hcp (C3)
Consistent mare dropping back from Group company with strong recent form including a last-start win. The top weight is a concern, but the class drop compensates. Should settle midfield and be strong late with the fast tempo.
Lightly-raced and progressive gelding with an impressive record of two wins and a second from three starts. Takes a significant step up in class but has been dominant at country level. The step up to 1200m looks suitable after winning over 1300m last start. Will likely settle midfield and should be strong late, though faces much tougher opposition here.
Consistent mare with a strong record of 3 wins and 6 seconds from 16 starts who comes in second-up after a first-up win. Has a strong second-up record and draws the inside barrier which should give options.

Thebudgiesmugla brings the strongest recent form into this race, having won last start over this course and distance 10 days ago. His soft track record is excellent with 2 wins from 3 starts, and his overall strike rate of 50% is impressive. While facing a class rise, he's shown progressive improvement and appears to be thriving for the Bjorn Baker stable. The inside draw and Dylan Gibbons aboard are additional positives.
Captain Maverick is the quintessential bridesmaid with 8 seconds from 20 starts, but his consistency makes him a genuine place chance. The Waller/Rawiller combination is elite, though the step up to 2400m is the query. His ability to settle midfield should help him handle the distance.
Sting In The Tail comes off a last-start win over 2110m at Warwick Farm and appears to be hitting peak form at the right time. The Waller/Lloyd combination is potent, and she gets in with just 54kg from the inside barrier. The class rise is the main concern.
While she was disappointing last start behind Thebudgiesmugla, she's drawn well and gets in with just 55kg.

Ranvet (Bm78)
Shady Thinker brings the strongest form credentials with an unbeaten record at 1200m and perfect 3 from 3 on good tracks. Second-up today after an impressive first-up win, he's drawn perfectly in barrier 4 with Nash Rawiller aboard.
Midnight Dynamite brings solid metropolitan form credentials with a consistent record of 4 wins and 5 placings from 14 starts. He's placed in both previous Rosehill attempts and performs well second-up with 2 wins from 3 attempts. While yet to win at 1200m, he's placed twice at the trip and has the tactical versatility to adapt to the expected fast tempo. Joshua Parr knows him well and should position him ideally.
Bartolf comes off a strong last-start win at Warwick Farm and has solid credentials at this distance with 2 wins from 6 attempts. Well-drawn in barrier 3 with in-form jockey Zac Lloyd, he should get an ideal run just off the pace. The slight class rise is the main concern, but his current form warrants respect.
Just Too Fly represents excellent value coming back from Group racing to a BM78. His form includes placings in Group 2 and 3 races, and he's perfect on good tracks with 1 win and 3 placings from 4 starts. First-up today with blinkers applied for the first time and star jockey Joao Moreira engaged, he should be ready to fire for the Waller stable. The class drop is significant and his fresh record (1 second from 2 attempts) suggests he'll be competitive.

Petaluma (Bm78)
The gelding is second-up from a spell with a strong record in this pattern (1-0-1 from 4 attempts). Drawn perfectly in barrier 2 for a positive position, he gets the services of Tommy Berry and looks well-placed to handle the class rise with just 55.5kg.
Hurstville Zagreb brings strong winning form with consecutive victories and a 43% career strike rate. The Divine Prophet gelding has a perfect record on good tracks (2-0-1 from 3) and has been racing in excellent form. While facing a class rise, his progressive profile suggests further improvement, and Zac Lloyd's continued association is a positive. The wide barrier is the main concern.
Adolphus comes off a strong last-start win at Rosehill over 1500m and has a solid record at this track. The Matthew Dale-trained gelding carries the minimum weight of 53kg which offsets the class rise. While untested at 1800m, his racing pattern suggests the distance should suit, and his overall profile of 4 wins from 13 starts indicates a horse with ability. Ashley Morgan retains the ride.
Luskaire represents excellent value coming off three consecutive wins including a last-start victory at this distance. The American Pharoah gelding has a strong record on good tracks (2-1-1 from 5) and at this distance (1-0-1 from 2). While facing a class rise, his progressive profile suggests he can measure up, and Tom Sherry's continued association is a positive. The 31-day freshen-up between runs is the main query.

Thrill Hunter brings the strongest proven form with a perfect 1-from-1 record, winning at this distance on similar track conditions. The filly gets a significant 2kg weight advantage, draws perfectly in barrier 2, and retains winning jockey Ashley Morgan. Her proven ability to win at this class level gives her a clear edge over largely unproven rivals.
The Waterhouse & Bott-trained colt has proven ability on Good tracks and draws well in barrier 6.
The combination of top trainer Ciaron Maher and elite jockey Nash Rawiller from an ideal barrier 3 draw are strong positives.
The engagement of top jockey Tommy Berry is significant, and the fact that Maher has multiple runners suggests depth in his juvenile team.

Miraval Rose brings the strongest combination of recent form and distance suitability. Her Group 2 win two starts back over this distance is compelling, and she's proven at this level.
Miss Roumbini brings strong credentials with an impressive win strike rate and excellent second-up record. The significant class rise is a concern, but her overall consistency and ability to perform on good tracks make her a genuine contender.
While her recent form has been declining, she has proven ability at Group level and a solid overall record. The inside barrier should allow her to secure a good position in what's expected to be a fast-tempo race.
Her solid 5th in Group 2 company last start suggests she can be competitive at this level, and she maintains fitness with just 14 days since her last run. While she faces a class rise and is unproven at the track, her consistency and the quality jockey booking make her an appealing value proposition.

Transatlantic brings elite form credentials with recent Group 1 success at Caulfield followed by a dominant Listed win at Randwick. His tactical versatility allows him to race on-pace or midfield, which will be crucial in this fast-tempo race. While stepping up to 1800m for the first time, his strong finishing efforts at 1600m suggest the distance will suit. The wide barrier is offset by his early speed and Tommy Berry's tactical nous.
Rise At Dawn brings strong credentials with a consistent record of 8 wins from 20 starts. His recent Group placings behind quality opposition highlight his class, while the inside draw gives him tactical options. Nash Rawiller's booking is significant, and the drop in class from his last Group 2 placing is a positive. While untested at 1800m, his racing pattern suggests the trip should suit.
Militarize represents strong value as a proven Group 1 performer dropping significantly in class. His last start second at this distance indicates he's reaching peak fitness, and the booking of star jockey Joao Moreira is significant. The awkward barrier is a concern, but he should get a suitable tempo to showcase his finishing burst.
Vivy Air represents excellent value with her strong recent form, including a close second in Listed company just 4 days ago. While her win strike rate is modest, her place percentage of 46% highlights her consistency. The quick backup is a slight concern, but her recent racing suggests she's at peak fitness for this assignment.

TAB (Bm78)
Undefeated 3yo filly who has shown tremendous potential in her brief career. Won impressively at this track and distance last start in heavy conditions, demonstrating versatility across track conditions. While stepping up in class, she gets in with just 52kg and has the tactical speed to position well from barrier 5. Her upside and progressive profile make her the standout.
Consistent mare with a strong fresh record who should be ready to fire first-up for Joseph Pride. Excels at this distance with 3 wins from 4 attempts and has the tactical speed to take advantage of her good draw. While carrying top weight, she has the class to overcome it and Nash Rawiller is a significant booking. Expected to be right in the finish.
Lightly-raced mare showing good progression with an impressive win last start. Has tactical speed to overcome the slightly awkward draw and Tommy Berry is a significant jockey booking. While stepping up in class, she has the scope for further improvement and should be competitive. Main concern is her lack of experience at this level.
Well-drawn in barrier 2 which should allow her to position closer than usual, and her record at this distance (6:1-2-2) suggests she'll be suited.

Rosehill Bowling Club (Bm78)
Unbeaten mare who continues to improve with each start. Coming off a dominant BM68 win at Warwick Farm where she showed good tactical speed and a strong turn of foot. The step up in class is offset by a perfect draw, Joao Moreira booking, and her clear upward trajectory. Second-up form is excellent and she appears to have more upside than most rivals.
Consistent performer who drops significantly in class after a strong 2nd in similar grade last start. Boasts an excellent record at 1400m with 2 wins and 2 seconds from 5 attempts. Maps to take up a forward position which should be advantageous given the likely race shape. Has placed at Rosehill previously and should be right in the finish.
Talented galloper with excellent track and distance credentials. Has been racing in stronger company recently and should appreciate the drop in class. Drawn to get a good run from barrier 2 and has the tactical speed to put himself in a striking position. Joshua Parr knows the horse well and the Bjorn Baker stable is firing.
Consistent performer who rarely runs a bad race. Comes off a solid 3rd in similar company and will appreciate the likely fast tempo. Has a good record at the track and distance and gets in with a light weight. Will be running on strongly late.
