Iroquai brings the strongest recent form line into this Maiden, having finished a close second over 1000m at Corowa two weeks ago. With Blaike McDougall aboard and a gear change (blinkers first time), she looks the most reliable winning chance despite still chasing a first career victory. The 900m sprint should suit her natural speed.

Barbecue Sauce resumes from a long spell after a debut 4th at Albury on heavy ground last May. A recent trial second at the track suggests he is ready to run well fresh. From barrier 3, Brodie Loy can roll forward and lead or park just off the speed. The drop to a softer class and 900m suits a resuming horse with speed. He is a leading chance if fit enough, but the long absence is a concern.
Andres Girl is a debutante with no raceday experience but has trialled nicely, winning a barrier trial at Wagga Riverside and running 4th in a heat at Albury. She gets the services of in-form jockey Brittany Button and carries just 53.5kg. The stable has a solid record with first starters. The main risk is inexperience and the wide draw, but she has the tools to be competitive.

Sneaky Pee Cee returned to form with a solid 3rd at Goulburn two starts back and while he faded in a tougher metro race last time, the drop to Class 1 and a stingy soft surface suit him well.
Dee Dee Express showed genuine ability early in her prep with placings on soft, then was outclassed at Rosehill. The lengthy spell is a concern but the barrier and class drop are strong positives. If she returns near her best she can lead or sit outside the leader and prove hard to run down.
He tends to run well at Albury and with a repeat of that performance can be in the finish again. The query is the soft track but his consistent pattern suggests each-way appeal.
She handles soft ground and draws perfectly in barrier 3 under a track‑specialist jockey.

Voynichese ran a close second on debut at Bathurst, showing good early speed and fighting spirit. She steps to 1175m and Soft ground, but her breeding and trial form suggest she can handle it. With only 55kg and the in-form Keatings/Orange combination, she is the clear top pick.
Brittany Button has a good record with this trainer. Barrier 4 is ideal for a forward position.
She maps favourably from barrier 2 and should be able to settle handy. The step to Soft 7 is a query, but she has the speed to be competitive.
Four Esses produced a much-improved effort last start, finishing second at Leeton. She gets in light at 54kg with the claim and should be able to hold a forward position.

Mr Magnificence profiles as the strongest form runner. His first-up second at Moruya was excellent, and Billy Owen retains the ride. The Soft 7 is a minor query but he handled soft ground at Canberra. Maps ideally just off the speed.
Meka Vibe is the consistent maiden who is always around the mark. He ran third at Corowa last start and drops to 55kg with a nice barrier. The major concern is his soft track record (0 placings from 6 starts), which makes him vulnerable on a Soft 7.
He draws barrier 2 which is a huge asset at this track, and he drops to 55kg. The step to 1400m is a positive. While his soft track form is moderate, he shapes as the best roughie in a weak maiden.

Pogson Cronin Kerr (Bm58)
Hells Spirit is the clear form horse, having won this same BM58 2000m event two weeks ago on Good4. He has proven ability on Soft7 with a dominant win in March and boasts an outstanding 3-0-1 record from 9 starts at Albury. Barrier 3, the jockey's exceptional affinity with this horse (33% win rate) and a favourable map make him the one to beat.
Doc March brings strong consistency and a recent BM66 victory at Wagga, but the top weight of 62.5kg and a poor record on soft ground (0-2-0 from 7 starts) are serious concerns. He may place but winning chances look slim on this surface.
Justifiably drops sharply in class after struggling in BM66 grade, which could spark improvement. He has a win on Soft5 at Canberra and generally handles rain-affected ground, but his last three runs have been disappointing. The booking of Blaike McDougall is a positive, and the drop to BM58 might be exactly what he needs, but he must produce a career-best to challenge the top two. Each-way claims at best.
He produced a strong runner-up effort over this track and distance two starts ago then followed with a solid fifth. Dropping to 55kg and with proven Albury form (2 wins, 6 placings), he profiles well for the race shape. The recent form spike suggests he is ready to peak, and while his overall win rate is poor, he is consistently competitive.

GJ Gardner Homes Albury (Bm66)
Star Blazer returns to his best track and distance after a convincing win at Corowa. His Albury record (2 wins from 5) and ability on soft ground give him a clear edge. Despite barrier 10, he has the early speed to hold a forward position and should control the race if he finds the front. The fast tempo may work in his favour as he's proven he can sustain a gallop.
However, barrier 13 at Albury is a major concern, as winners overwhelmingly come from the first half of the field. She will need an exceptional ride or a very strong tempo to overcome the draw.
Philadelphia Storm is a proven Albury performer who maps perfectly from barrier 2. He has placed twice at this track and distance and goes well on rain-affected ground. The step back to Albury and the inside draw should see him improve significantly.
From barrier 3 with only 55kg she can settle in the first six and finish off strongly.

Choices Flooring Wodonga (Bm58)
Maps perfectly to lead or sit handy from barrier 4 on a position-biased track. His Albury record (4:1-1-0) confirms he handles the circuit. The slight class rise is offset by outstanding recent performances. Strong win chance.
Amber Star drops markedly in class after racing in BM66/62 company. He has excellent statistics at the 1175m trip and on soft ground. First-up record is promising (1 win, 1 placing from 3). While the long spell is a query, trainer Craig Weeding has him ready and he maps to settle midfield with cover.
She steps up in class but carries only 57.5kg and has the advantage of Jason Lyon who rides Albury well. The form is clearly improving and she maps to get a nice run just off the speed. Respect each-way threat.
I'm Airborne comes off a close second at Wodonga and has a good record at Albury including a win on heavy ground.
