Barrier 4 and a forward map fit Moe's position-based profile perfectly. The only real query is Heavy 10 with 59.5kg, given no prior heavy start, but the soft-track record of two seconds and a third from five suggests wet ground is no barrier.

Cleaners World Mdn Plate
The best-credentialled wet-tracker in the race. Noonan's record at the track and for the stable is a positive. Solid each-way value rather than a winning proposition.
The step to 2050m suits and barrier 5 permits a handy run.
The value proposition.

Able Mdn Plate
The most credible form horse in a weak maiden. Barrier 1 with Mott aboard in a slow-tempo 1600m gives her the controlling position Moe rewards, and the Douglas/Mott combination strikes at 14%. The 3kg weight rise and chronic failure to win are the risks, but she is clearly the likeliest winner.
The most proven wet-track runner in the race. She was a fit fourth over the trip at Bairnsdale 10 days ago and Currie returns for a stable striking at 15% with him. Barrier 10 is the main obstacle in a slow-tempo affair.
Deep maiden form with a record at the distance of 2 starts for 2 placings and a heavy-track record of 1 start for 1 placing, that second coming over this exact trip at Bairnsdale. Against him is 13 starts without a win, top weight of 59.5kg in a bog, and barrier 9 forcing a compromised early move. Place claims only.
A proxy-based value play in a race where the exposed form is uniformly moderate. Heavy ground and the 1600m are unknowns, so back her each-way rather than to win.

Her track-and-distance record reads 1: 0-1-0. Barrier 3 fits Moe's inside-and-forward wet profile, Stackhouse is 20% here, and she is fitter for the run.
Every start has been at this trip and he drops sharply in grade with a strong stable and senior rider.
His single heavy-track run produced a third and barrier 6 with 57.0kg suits Moe's momentum-based wet profile.
He returns to the exact venue, trip and surface where he produced that run, from barrier 5 with the same rider.

Halls Plumbing Mdn Plate
Koko is the most credible form runner. Moe on Heavy rewards forward position and momentum through the bend, which suits her tactical speed from barrier 7. The obvious knock is she is 0 from 7, but in a maiden this weak she is comfortably the most reliable winning chance.
Assessed on the debutant proxy framework rather than penalised for absent form. The Hunter/Neindorf combination strikes at 21%, the horse has drawn the inside gate which is the most valuable real estate at Moe in the wet, and it carries the minimum 55kg. Risk is genuine - Heavy 10 punishes the inexperienced - but the map and intent read positively enough to take a place position.
The problem is barrier 13 on a Heavy 10 at Moe, where wide draws demand exceptional early speed to overcome and outside gates have produced no winners or placings in the recent local sample. That is enough to keep it third rather than a top-two contender, but the class of the connections means it cannot be dismissed.
The class angle is genuine - she was tested at Group 2 level at Caulfield on debut and now drops to a Moe maiden against ordinary opposition. However she is first up after 186 days with only one prior start, drawn awkwardly in barrier 12, and has no wet-track evidence. That combination is why she sits third rather than higher. Each-way is the appropriate structure given the upside and the risk.
Second up he should be fitter and the drop to 1000m suits. Each-way is the sensible structure.

Cloud Chat (Bm56)
Barrier 2 lets Sam Kennedy hold a top-three spot into the bend, which is the winning template here.
He handles heavy ground without ever winning on it. He is the obvious placegetter but needs luck to convert.
Aberlutely gets the sharpest class relief in the race, plunging from Bench. Barrier 7 has her in the forward group, which is the profile this track rewards.
His wet record reads 5 starts for 1 win and 2 thirds. Barrier 4 with Jamie Mott, for a stable he wins 14% for, gives him the forward position the Moe soft-track profile demands. The obvious flaw is a habit of running placings rather than winning, so he is safest at place level.
Just Dance is the overlay. He drops from Bench.

Ladbrokes Mega Multi (Bm56)
The most reliable form line in a weak BM56. He handles bottomless going, is race fit off a ten-day gap, and maps to sit midfield with cover.
Dropping from Bench. She has 2 wins from 9 Heavy starts and a strong distance record. What stops her from being top pick is the 4-from-31 win strike, barrier 11, 61.5kg, and a track record of 0 from 3 at Moe. Ranked second on that combination.
A rock-solid each-way profile with the best barrier of the main chances. Setheus won his maiden on Heavy 8 and was beaten under a length on Heavy 9 at Cranbourne, so the going is no issue. The drop from Bench. 62 to BM56 and gate 4 give him the map to hold a forward position, which is exactly the Moe wet-track profile. The step to 1600m is unproven and he is a chronic minor placegetter, so the each-way angle is the right way in rather than straight out.
The most credentialled runner for these exact conditions. The 62kg and wide gate are the risks, but he has already overcome barrier 13 here with 60kg on his back.
The value angle. Auto Max did exactly what today requires last start — won over 1590m on Heavy 9 in Bench. He backs up in 14 days at the same class from barrier 1, the ideal draw for a slow-tempo Moe mile where momentum into the bend decides it. Each-way is the sensible structure.

RMBL Investments Rising Stars Race (Bm56)
The most credentialed runner on raw form. His Moe Heavy 9 second in Bench. He has two placings from three Moe starts at the trip, so the surface and circuit hold no fears. The obvious risk is conversion - three wins from 31 starts and none in ten runs - but the class relief plus first-time bubble cheeker gives him the best platform he has had to finally break through.
The improver of the race. She placed at Moe over this trip on Heavy 10 in May, then filled placings in two more heavy maidens before winning at 1200m on Soft 7 at Murtoa. That is a horse whose form curve is pointing straight up and whose conditions are exactly today's.
The purest wet-tracker in the race on strike rate - a win on Heavy 8 at Geelong and a second at Moe over this exact trip on Heavy 9 from only two heavy starts. Barrier 5 and a forward map fit the Moe momentum pattern, and the Freedman stable removing blinkers while dropping her from Bench.
The 3kg claim brings her to a workable 57kg and the Edwards/Thompson combination is potent at 50 percent. From barrier 7 she can take a forward position, which is the winning pattern at Moe on Soft ground where momentum into the bend decides races.
The overlay of the race. Barrier 6 gives her a forward, momentum-based map that Moe wet tracks reward.

Team Staffing Solutions (Bm56)
The most proven wet-track performer in the race at this exact grade, track and distance. He returns to the easier grade with a class edge and maps handy.
The best Moe specialist in the race, with a win and a placing from four attempts at track and distance including a maiden win here on Heavy 9. Last start he was beaten only a length in Bench. 62 at Moe on Heavy 9 with 56kg.
Barrier 11 on a Heavy 10 at Moe compounds the concern.
