Anthropology is the most reliable form line in this weak maiden. She was a closing third first-up at Mackay over 1200m, is second-up today, and has previously placed at Emerald. Her on-pace pattern fits the moderate tempo and inside-barrier bias.

Queen Of Light is the third pick on raw ability and place credentials. She was a good second over 1200m in heavy going before a disappointing Ipswich run last start. The drop back to a country maiden, an inside gate, and a moderate pace should help her. Her consistency is less proven than the top pick, but she can settle handy and is a genuine place chance.
Pennyville is the value play. She made an encouraging debut when third over 1000m at Yeppoon and is exactly the type of unexposed horse that can upset a weak maiden full of exposed winless runners. The extra 200m, barrier 2, and an inside rail bias all suit.

Fat Man Small Motors (Bm55)
Dwayne maps to lead a race lacking genuine speed, a meaningful edge at Emerald's spacious circuit. He is fit from 1800-2000m assignments, and Gabrielle Semmens has a strong 21% strike rate at this track. The knock is a thin winning profile, but the soft tempo and inside draw offset that in a moderate BM55.
Mr Grey is the proven course/distance horse, with two seconds and a third from three runs at Emerald over 1630m. He arrives in consistent form with three straight placings, carries only 56.5kg, and has blinkers removed.
Pride Of Savabella made a good return with a fast-closing third at Sunshine Coast and has won over 1600m before. He should improve second-up and the slight class drop helps. However, his 0-from-3 second-up record and Amie Meissner's modest 4% strike rate at Emerald temper confidence.
Her recent country form is strong - a win at Ilfracombe followed by two thirds - and her 7-from-32 Good-track record is the best in this field.

Zipitalist has won three of his last five, including back-to-back country Opens, and holds a strong recent edge over New Level. His Good-track record is solid and the jockey/horse combination is a positive. The 1630m is a genuine unknown, but his current form and fitness make him the most likely winner despite that query.
Clear course and distance specialist. New Level has a strong record at Emerald and over 1630m, highlighted by a second placing in this exact Open race in May. The last-start failure tempers confidence, but the barrier, weight, and on-pace map all suit. He is the principal form threat to Zipitalist on suitability and rates highly for a place.
June brings the highest raw class to the race, having won a BM78 at Eagle Farm and placed twice over 1630m at Doomben. However, his Good-track strike rate is poor and he was soundly beaten last start. He is still a solid place candidate.
Tapa Kick is the value runner. He has an excellent record around this trip, with one win and four seconds from six starts over 1600-1630m, and won a BM60 at Barcaldine two starts back.

Emerald Isuzu Ute Plate (C4)
Ellibaby is the clear form horse of the race. She returned from a spell with a dominant Class 3 win at Yeppoon, and her second-up statistics are positive. The main concerns are no course experience and a midfield map in a slow-run race, but her class and acceleration should overcome that.
Wolfgang maps beautifully from barrier 1 in a race likely to be run at a slow tempo. The query is the last-start failure at Warwick and no Emerald experience, but his on-pace style is well suited to this track shape. He is the clear second pick.
Stecara is a serious winning chance because she has already won at this track and distance, beating I'm Stellar and Armstrong Bay in the process. She maps well from barrier 2 and should be on pace in a race lacking genuine speed. The 49-day freshen-up and the slight class rise are minor concerns, but her course form makes her the best of the rest.

Farm & Construction Products Plate (C6)
Woodstock Rock is the most complete form and map package. He has a strong good-track record, consistent exposed form, and a positive first-up pattern. Barrier 2 should allow him to hold a prominent position in a fast-run 1000m. The 230-day break is the obvious query, but this stable typically has him ready to run well.
Good Lieutenant rates highly on his 1000m record of two wins from five attempts and a genuine recent placing at Mackay in BM75 company. The inside draw gives him every chance to settle handily. However, his second-up record is poor, he has only one Good-track win, and he carries 61kg. He looks the main threat to the top pick but his winning chances are limited by those negatives.
He should be prominent in a fast-run race and is a genuine place chance. The main concern is his 0-from-5 Good-track record, with most of his best form on Soft ground.
Greylist is a genuine 1000m specialist who has finished 2-1-2 in his last three starts, all at the trip and on Good ground. The step up from BM60 to Class 6 is a concern, and he was well held at Emerald earlier this year.

Goldacres (Bm50)
Spitzberg comes off a Rest55 win at Rockhampton and a midfield run in Open class. He has placed in three of five starts over today's trip and maps nicely from barrier 3, with Adam Sewell in good form at Emerald. The massive class drop to BM50 is in his favour, though his failure to win at 1000m and the 60.5kg impost mean he is a strong place prospect rather than a clear win banker.
She maps ideally from barrier 2 with enough early speed to hold a prominent spot, and the bandages-off gear change may help her continue the upward trend. The rise to BM50 is a test and her overall place record is fragile, making her a solid place chance rather than a win banker.
She has been competitive in BM55 and Rest55 company and now drops to BM50 while retaining her on-pace style, which suits Emerald's Good track.
She drops significantly in grade from Class 4 and BM65 company to BM50, carries a light 56kg, and has the tactical speed to settle within striking range.

Maraboon Tavern Hcp (60)
Form is hard to fault on paper: three wins from four starts, a first-up win on debut, and a strong Good-track record. However, he returns from a 135-day break, carries top weight, and has drawn wide, so he may need luck from midfield. The class rise from BM55 to R60 is modest and his recent wins have been decisive. If fit enough, he has the highest ceiling in this field and rates clearly above his rivals despite the queries.
Barrier 1 and a slow expected tempo give him every chance to control this race from the front. He has been competitive in this grade, finishing close when fifth at Mackay last time, and has placed in five of his last eight starts. The major knock is his poor Good-track record (0 wins from 8), so he may find one or two too sharp if the surface plays truly. Nose roll first time is a minor gear hope.
Two straight wins, including a 1200m Rest55 at Roma, make her the most progressive runner in the race.
The veteran ran a much better race last time to finish second in a Rest60 at Muttaburra, and his 1200m record reads 3 wins from 13 starts. He has plenty of Good-track experience and can settle handy from barrier 7 in a race lacking genuine speed.
