Kaluakoi steps up in grade off a dominant BM85 win at Doomben last start where he carried 57kg and dictated. His Eagle Farm form is consistent including a 3rd over 1800m. Barrier 16 is the major negative but his racing pattern allows him to settle midfield and travel forward. Quality jockey Collett booked. Class rise is the main test but his current form arc and tactical versatility make him the most likely winner.

Mittys (Bm90)
Cavalry Man brings the best track-and-distance record in the field with 2 wins and a place from 4 starts at Eagle Farm 1810m. His last two runs have been strong including a 3rd in BM90 at Eagle Farm in May. Drops to 54kg with barrier 5 - exactly the profile Eagle Farm rewards. Jockey King's poor record at the track is the main reservation but the horse's class and suitability are obvious.
Express Payment comes off a strong BM78 win at Doomben and steps up sharply in class but draws ideally in barrier 4 with just 56kg. His Eagle Farm record (1 win, 2 thirds from 4) is excellent. The class rise is the main question and 1810m is unproven at this level. Map and form arc make him a major player.
Inside barrier 3 is perfect for Eagle Farm's bias.

Now Is The Hour is the standout form pick with a perfect profile for Eagle Farm 1200m. Recent runs at Doomben (2nd from wide draw) and Gold Coast (2nd) prove he's racing in career-best form. Barrier 4 allows him to settle handy and exploit the on-pace bias. Most reliable winning chance in the race.
Restonica boasts a perfect Eagle Farm 1200m record (3:2-0-0) and drops to ideal conditions from barrier 1. Won this exact track/trip in April off a similar Good 4 surface. Last start 4th on Heavy 8 in Open class is forgivable. Will lead or sit second and is hard to pass given track bias toward on-pacers. Wins again if he handles the freshen-up.
Has won 2 of 6 starts at Eagle Farm 1200m with another placing, and his second-up record (4:2-0-0) is outstanding. Won fresh at Ipswich first-up beating BM78 company, and the Hoysted/Sandkuhl combination strikes at 14%. With 50% win rate at this track/distance and Good track preference (6 wins from 12), he's substantially overpriced compared to his proven profile here. Ideal each-way play.

Tonkin emerges as the standout selection based on exceptional form credentials. With a 40% win rate and 80% place rate from just 10 starts, she boasts the best overall record in the field.
Flying Destiny commands respect as the last-start Listed winner at Doomben over 1110m. His 27% win rate and 52% place rate demonstrate consistency, while barrier 3 provides a significant tactical advantage at this trip. Though he has limited 1000m experience (1 win from 1 start), his recent form is excellent with four wins from his last seven starts. The retention of Jamie Melham is positive after their successful partnership.
Monte Supreme represents value dropping from Listed grade where she finished 4th at Scone and 3rd at Hawkesbury. With an exceptional 1000m record of 3 wins from 4 starts, she's well-suited to this trip. The return of blinkers is significant as she won wearing them previously. Rachel King maintains the ride and their stable combination strikes at 18%. At 56.5kg, she receives weight relief from recent runs.
Drawing barrier 1 provides a crucial edge, particularly with no genuine leaders engaged. His second-up record of 50% win rate is encouraging after finishing 3rd first-up at Gold Coast. The booking of Tommy Berry, striking at 25% recently, suggests confidence from connections despite the freshen-up.

The Show A Heart
Shintono is the standout on form, being the only runner with proven Listed-level performance after a strong 2nd at Doomben in similar company. Drawn perfectly in barrier 2 with class jockey Jamie Melham aboard for the in-form McEvoy stable (33% combo strike rate). Has won on Good 4 surface and the Good 4 conditions today suit. Clear top pick.
Glenorchy comes from the premier Waller stable with Tommy Berry retaining the ride after a Group-level debut at Randwick. The barrier 1 draw at Eagle Farm is a major asset given the inside-bias track profile. Significant natural improvement expected 2nd-up and the trip to Brisbane signals stable intent. While not as form-proven as Shintono, the connections and draw make her a strong place chance.
The Goldman stable, jockey Collett booking, and barrier 3 all read positively.
The booking of Luke Nolen is a strong intent signal for a local Birchley-trained 2YO, and first-time tongue tie may sharpen further. Fresh after 91 days but historical Eagle Farm form is the field's most relevant.

Miss Freelove is the most reliable form pick. Drawn perfectly in barrier 1, she profiles ideally for Eagle Farm's position-driven bias. Tim Clark has a 2-from-5 record on her including a Gold Coast Open win. Snowden-trained, light 55kg, and proven good-track filly - the most credentialled three-year-old filly in the race.
Has won at Eagle Farm on Good 4 with Maloney and ran 2nd in a Listed here last prep. Barrier 3 plus on-speed pattern aligns perfectly with EF's position-driven bias.
Mercy Me has elite strike rates (50% win, 83% place) and ran a narrow 2nd to Miss Freelove in the Listed at Scone last start. Regan Bayliss strong booking. Barrier 6 is workable on a track that rewards inside-8 draws. Lightly raced with clear upside, she's a genuine top-3 chance and the chief alternative to the Snowden filly.
Already a Listed winner with Gollan/Graham combination (38% strike). 2nd-up stats perfect (1:1-0-0) and Eagle Farm winner. Each-way value play given form is genuinely top-3 calibre.

Pinito is the most reliable form pick after a courageous G3 Doomben Mile win last start carrying 57.5kg. Drawn ideally in barrier 3 allowing Melham to settle handy, which suits the Eagle Farm bias of being top 3-4 at the 400m. Strong Waller stable, proven 1600m at this track, and Good 4 surface aligns with her best form.
Churchill's Choice arrives in peak form having won the G3 Hawkesbury Mile and run a luckless 2nd in Listed company at Scone last start. Bayliss retains the ride after his Scone effort and the trainer-jockey combination strikes at 20%. Likely to settle on-pace which suits Eagle Farm bias.
Surfin' Bird is a lightly-raced and progressive mare with an outstanding 50% win rate. Major concern is barrier 15 which forces a wide run or back-of-field map at the rail+2m setting. If she gets across or settles midfield with cover, her sprint should bring her into calculations.
Bengal Diamond is the value play with Eagle Farm specialist credentials (8:3-1-0) and outstanding tactical advantages. Queensland Winter Carnival often produces local upsets at this exact profile.

Sun God presents the strongest form profile. Won fresh at Scone over 1300m at Listed level, showing both fitness and finishing kick. Tactical speed from gate 6 maps perfectly for Eagle Farm's position-driven bias requiring top 3 at the 400m.
Williams quality booking signals stable confidence. However, barrier 11 is a real negative at Eagle Farm where 9-12 are disadvantaged, and 13+ is severe. Class rise to Listed open is significant.
The local Gollan stable secured Mark Zahra (60% with this trainer) which signals serious intent. Won a Listed race at this track two starts back and ran a strong 3rd in the Doomben Mile Listed event last start. Outstanding 4 wins from 12 at Eagle Farm, drawn perfectly in barrier 2 to control on-pace tactics. Queensland Carnival upsets are common and this profile fits the Oaks Day inefficiency pattern perfectly.

Seven Queensland Oaks
The reigning Australasian Oaks winner who steps into this Queensland Oaks off a freshen-up. Drawn ideally in barrier 6, she maps to settle midfield with cover and should be perfectly placed turning for home. Her Group 1 form at 2000m on Good tracks is the strongest in the race, and the Waller stable's record with Oaks fillies adds confidence.
Boom three-year-old who won the Group 2 Queensland Oaks Trial impressively last start. Major threat to Panova if she gets the right run.
Ran a strong second in the Group 2 Oaks Trial behind Fireball Miss and looks well suited stepping up to 2200m. Barrier 20 is the major concern but her tactical versatility and finishing strength make her competitive. Strong each-way prospect to fill a placing.
She won impressively over 2180m last start and is the only runner with proven form beyond 2000m at a Queensland track. Small each-way play for upset potential.

Manaal is the clear class horse dropping from G1 company having previously won G2 races with authority. The barrier 1 draw is ideal for her tactical speed and she maps to settle just off the speed in a likely fast-tempo race. While first-up after 84 days is a concern, her first-up record (6:1-2-1) shows she can perform fresh. Significant class drop and ideal map make her the most likely winner.
In Flight won a Group 2 at Randwick three runs back and her last-start failure can be forgiven on a Heavy 8 in adverse conditions. Drawn perfectly at barrier 2, she maps to control or sit just off the speed. Craig Williams retains the ride having won on her previously. The drop back to a Good 4 surface should bring her back to her best.
Second-up record is excellent (2 wins from 6) and Jason Collett is in good form. Class and weight relief give him a chance, though declining trend and age require caution.
Despite three plain runs, he maps to lead from barrier 4 which is the ideal Eagle Farm profile.
