Wounded Eagle is the clear top selection based on two excellent maiden performances at Hobart, finishing 2nd and 3rd by narrow margins. He maps to settle prominently from a good barrier, and his jockey is in red-hot form. With a 50% place rate and proven Soft 5 ability, he profiles as the most likely winner in an ordinary maiden field.

Timely Needs is the most consistent maiden in the field with three placings. The wide draw is a concern but he has the tactical speed to cross and find cover.
Sorell Eagles has shown promise in his two starts, finishing close up on both occasions. He should benefit from the step up to 1380m and is likely to push forward from barrier 9, a tactic that works well at Hobart. He represents a threat to the top picks and should be around the mark.
She produced her best effort over 1400m at Hobart Soft 5 and returns from a spell with a strong trainer/jockey combination. While first-up form is poor, the stable knows how to produce them and she maps to settle midfield with cover. Worth an each-way ticket.

Kevin Sharkie Mdn Plate
She has placed on Soft at Hobart and resumes off a trial win. The barrier 6, strong jockey booking, and stable form suggest she should be hard to beat. The only query is first-up fitness but she maps well to settle midfield and finish strongly.
Ballerini has looked sharp in two trial wins, including a soft surface trial at Hobart. Jockey Codi Jordan is in form, but she'll need a good ride to get into the first half. Place prospects are strong.
Enuff Dosh has two encouraging barrier trials at Hobart on Soft, and barrier 2 is a huge plus for a debutant. Sam Kennedy is riding well and can settle her on the speed. She represents good place value and has each-way claims in a wide-open maiden.
Vabuiagi showed promise on debut finishing second at Launceston over 1100m on Good. Trainer S Gandy has a good record with this jockey (14% wins). While she is untested on Soft, the race shape and barrier 8 are favourable.

Ladbrokes Mega Multi (Bm68)
He drops back to BM68 today and is proven on soft ground. Barrier 9 is a slight concern but he has the tactical speed to cross. He represents the most likely winner based on form.
Florence Glass has won two of her last three starts including a BM72 over 2100m. She draws the inside barrier which is a significant advantage on Hobart's soft track. She can lead or sit just off the speed and control the race. She is the horse to beat.
Goddess Of Rock won impressively last start over 2050m at Hobart, beating Happy Clan and Native Clan. She now drops to BM68 and appears well placed. However, her record at 2100m is a concern with no wins from five attempts. She is still a major threat.
Tideford has shown ability at this level, placing in BM68 over 2100m and 2000m earlier this year. His last two runs have been poor, but he returns to a suitable distance and has a good barrier.

Mingari + Co (Bm76)
Sh'bourne Midnight commands respect as a Hobart specialist with an outstanding 9:5-1-1 record. He drops from Listed company to BM76, and his soft-track form (11:4-5-2) is arguably the best in the field. First-up stats (3:1-2-0) suggest he runs well fresh. Barrier 2 allows a positive ride, and he maps to settle just behind the leaders, fitting the Hobart Soft profile of horses sitting 3rd-6th turning. The main query is whether the 79-day spell leaves him fully wound, but his class and home-track affinity should be enough to overcome that.
Hurricane Ketut is in the form of his life with two wins and a narrow second from his last four outings. The 6yo gelding thrives on Soft ground (15:4-3-4) and has a strong partnership with Codi Jordan (23% stable strike rate). Barrier 5 and a midfield pattern align perfectly with the Hobart Soft bias: he should be within the top six at the 400m and able to press into the bend. He represents a reliable place chance with genuine win claims.
Zewinna comes off a commanding win in a BM68 at Hobart (1600m Soft5) where she comfortably accounted for Hurricane Ketut. The 7yo mare boasts a formidable Hobart record (25:7-5-2) and drops to a very appealing 54.5kg after the claiming allowance. The main concern is barrier 8, which may require her to settle further back than ideal, but she has shown tactical speed and can improve into the race before the bend.
He boasts a perfect second-up record (2:1-0-0) and excels on Soft going (7:3-0-0). While his last start was poor, he was first-up and the run can be forgiven. The drop back from 2000m to 1380m may sharpen him up, and he maps to settle just behind the speed from barrier 7. With Mehmet Ulucinar riding in good form, he can surprise if he holds his position turning.

Ladbrokes Hosted Pots (Bm68)
Furneaux is a proven Hobart specialist who drops from BM76/Open company into this BM68, a significant class advantage. His weight (60kg) is challenging but the class relief is substantial. From barrier 1 he can take a forward position and be hard to run down. Strong each-way appeal.
She drops 0.5kg from that run and carries only 54.5kg. The rise in class is a query but her recent performances indicate she belongs. With a light weight and good barrier (7), she can settle midfield and produce a strong finish. Solid each-way chance.
Flying Concello is the form horse of the field, arriving on a hat-trick of wins including a BM64 and a class 4, last start scoring over this course and distance in BM68 grade. She is unbeaten from three Hobart starts, handles soft ground exceptionally well (3 wins from 5), and maps to settle just off the leaders with momentum into the bend. The rising weight (59kg) is a minor concern, but her sustained acceleration and race fitness outweigh it. She is the one to beat and the most likely winner.
Restricted Access is a Hobart specialist with 6 wins from 13 starts at the track and a superb 5 wins from 12 attempts on soft ground. Despite a 161-day spell, he trialled fairly and trainer Keys has a solid first-up record. The wide barrier (14) is a concern but jockey Erica Byrne Burke knows the horse well and can offset that with forward tactics. His class rise is manageable given his record and low weight (54kg).

Accusaient is the value top pick. With a fast tempo expected, she can use her tactical speed to improve into the bend, fitting the Hobart Soft profile perfectly. Her recent 3rd in a Class 1 at the track confirms she is ready to win.
She drops back to Class 1 here and should find this easier. From barrier 10 she can settle just off the speed and use her turn of foot.
Geegees Ace broke his maiden impressively at this track/distance on Soft 5 last start, leading all the way. He is by Wordsmith and should handle the rise in class given his youth and improvement. The fast tempo may test him if he leads, but he can sit behind leaders.
Fruit Of De Vine is a genuine value runner. She ran a close 3rd in a Class 1 at Hobart 1430m on Soft 5 last start, carrying 54kg. Here she drops to 52kg and draws barrier 4, which is ideal for a midfield positioning.

Pink Cup Raised $28 100 For NBCF (Bm60)
Quafftide is the standout selection based on form, fitness, and suitability. She has won her last two starts on Soft 5 at Hobart, including a Class 4 over 1600m. Her Soft-track record is excellent with 4 wins from 9 starts. She maps to settle in the first half of the field, which is vital at Hobart on Soft. She carries 60kg but is clearly thriving.
Just A Needs is a consistent performer who drops to a more suitable class. She has excellent track and distance statistics and ran well last start in a stronger BM68 race. She maps to lead or sit on the pace from barrier 2, which is beneficial at Hobart. While her win rate is low, her place strike rate and class drop make her a strong each-way threat.
Sir Jag broke through with a tidy win in a Class 1 at this track and distance on Soft 5 last start. He now rises to BM60 but has strung together consistent form, including several placings. He maps well from barrier 3 and should be in the first half of the field. While his overall win rate is low, his recent form suggests he is improving and can be competitive.
Purr Sefanee has not shown her best lately but her prior form at this track and distance on Soft is excellent, including a Class 2 win and a Class 4 placing. She drops back from Class 4 to BM60 and gets in with only 54kg. Jockey Sam Kennedy is riding well and has a 20% record with this horse.

Winning Edge Presentations (Bm60)
Miss Keeds is the standout on form, dropping from a BM72 to BM60. She holds a strong record at Hobart (2 wins) and over this track/distance (1 win, 1 placing). Her recent 4th in higher grade reads well and she maps to settle handy from barrier 2. The clear top pick.
Despite a wide draw, she has tactical speed to cross or sit just off the pace. Sam Kennedy is in career-best form. Her only negative is an indifferent record at Hobart itself, but on Soft, Hobart rewards horses with speed and momentum. Major threat and excellent each-way value.
Tassie Power is a consistent gelding who performs well on Soft and has placed in two of his last three starts. He's second-up today, and while his second-up stats show a place but no win, he is race-hardened. The query is the drop to 1000m for the first time, but his early speed suggests he can handle it. More of a place chance than a win threat at this level.
Zulu Fields is an improving mare who broke through with a gutsy win at Hobart on May 10 over 1200m. She now drops to 1000m and benefits from a massive weight swing (53.5kg) and the prime inside barrier. While her soft record is modest (1-from-17), she showed affinity for the surface last time. The class rise is a concern, but the weight and barrier offset it.
