Placed in two of his last three and four of six career starts, most recently a solid second over further. He is the natural leader in a race where front-runners dominate at Kilcoy, and the drop to 1500m suits. The concern is the wide gate, which may force early work, and a stable yet to fire.

Ladbrokes Turn On Flex Multi Mdn Plate
An improving mare who finished a close third last start from a forward position. She draws ideally in gate four and should lob into the box seat just off the speed, a perfect map at Kilcoy's tight circuit. The step up to 1500m looks to suit and her rider goes well here. Still a maiden, so the place looks the stronger play.
Lightly raced with an in-form yard and the inside draw. He produced his best result when third last start, though beaten a long way and fading late. The ear muffs come off first time, which may sharpen him. The question is the 1500m, as he looked one-paced over 1400m and the rider is without a recent win.
A genuine on-pace mare who was a close fourth at this track and trip two starts back and is rarely far away. A long-standing maiden without a Good-track placing, so each-way is the play.

Drawn the inside gate and looks the one they have to catch at a track where leaders and on-pacers dominate. Trialled well in late September and the stable has added gear to help him settle. Lightly raced but he showed genuine promise when leading at Newcastle.
The most convincing recent form in the race — close-up seconds and thirds at Warwick over similar journeys, running to a winning standard. Drawn well with the speed to land on the pace, exactly where you want to be around Kilcoy, and she has already placed here. Thirteen starts without a win is the obvious knock, but she is knocking hard on the door.
An improving type from a strong combination. The wide draw and the fact he gave ground late are genuine worries at a tight track that punishes runners forced to sit wide.
The value runner. She led and ran to a winning standard at Warwick two runs back and now drops to the feather weight from an inside gate, expected to roll forward on a track that rewards speed. Recent form reads plainly, but conditions here are far more suitable than her last couple of outings over longer trips.

RQ Safe Work Month (Bm58)
He has the best track-and-trip profile in the field with two wins and a placing from three starts at Kilcoy over this journey, including a strong victory earlier in the year. He now drops back from tougher company into a grade he wins in. The five-day back-up and a flat recent finish are the only knocks, but the class relief and course affinity outweigh them.
Veteran mare who arrives off a win in a stronger race over 2110m and now finds a winnable BM58. Her record at Kilcoy over this trip is excellent with two wins and two placings from ten attempts, so she knows the track well. The concern is her get-back style on a circuit that heavily favours on-pace runners, but she has proven she can overcome that here before.
The model of consistency with nine placings in his last ten, capped by a maiden win last time out. He maps to race handy, which is a genuine edge on a tight circuit with a short straight, and the trainer/jockey pairing is reliable. The obvious query is the big step up from maiden grade to a BM58 while stretching to 1900m for the first time.
Everything points to him getting an easy lead in a race that should be run at a modest tempo, an ideal scenario for a front-runner at Kilcoy where the short straight favours on-pace types. He owns a handy record at this track and trip and won a BM58 leading all the way three starts ago.

Drialle looks the one to catch. He rolls forward, and in a race short of speed he can dictate a modest tempo - a real plus at Kilcoy's tight circuit with its short straight. He was only collared late over this track and trip two runs back while conceding weight, and meets that rival better off today. He drops in class and is fresh.
Privalova is arguably the form runner in the race. She won here over this trip earlier in the campaign and was beaten a whisker in a stronger grade at Warwick last start, sitting handy and hitting the line. She races on the pace, which suits this track, and gets in light. The queries are a slightly awkward draw and a combination with a modest record, but her recent runs are the strongest in the field.
Sukhbir is the consistent one. He has won at this track and is proven at the trip, and drops in class after a string of honest efforts in stronger company. He sits just off the speed, which is a good spot at Kilcoy, and produced his best run of the prep a couple of starts back. He lacks a recent winning edge but is a solid place hope if the leaders overdo it.
He can race handier than his map suggests and has an inside gate.

Exchange Hotel Mdn Plate
Handy filly who should get the run of the race from gate four in a contest where the speed is up front. Trainer goes well here and the track rewards her style. Looks her best chance to break through.
Ran the best race of anyone here last start, a narrow second at Toowoomba over this distance, and was runner-up at Kilcoy over 1200m before that. She has genuine on-pace ability. The knock is the car park draw; from 15 she will have to work early to get across, and wide gates have found this circuit hard.
She has a good draw, the stable has only this runner engaged, and the rider-trainer pairing is effective.
She has been running honest races against stronger maidens, with useful efforts over 1200m at Mackay and Rockhampton, and is normally positioned handily rather than at the tail. The rider is going well.

Ladbrokes Tote Win + 10% (Bm65)
Lightly raced five-year-old who has won and placed in both Kilcoy starts over this trip, and all three of his career wins have come on good ground. He should lead from gate four and, with the shortest straight in the country, a front-runner is hard to chase down. Jess Emmerson is riding in red-hot form. The knock is the class rise and a habit of weakening when leading his last two, but in this field, on this track, he looks the one to catch.
He is a relentless placegetter who rarely runs poorly.
Course-and-distance winner who does his best work on top of the pace, and from gate three he should get the perfect box-seat trail behind the two speedsters. He is dropping in grade and all his good-ground wins say he handles the surface.
Veteran who has found a new lease of life, winning two starts back and placing in four of his last five. He drops in class and the stable is going well. The problem is his pattern: he settles near last and Kilcoy is unforgiving to back-markers.

Pink Up Harness Raceday Sun October 11 Hcp (55)
She is the one to beat. The most reliable horse in the field, she maps favourably just off the speed and drops in class from a tougher grade. A previous win over this course and distance plus a pair of recent seconds against better company give her the strongest form line here.
The risk is having to burn early petrol from the outside gate, which is why he rates clear second rather than top pick.
A reliable on-pace mare who races best at Kilcoy. She has a win and a placing over this course and distance and comes off competitive runs in better class. If she lands in the first three around the home turn she will be in the finish, though she is vulnerable late.
The each-way play.
