On form she is the most likely winner. She is the only horse likely to lead, and the expected slow tempo and the wet track both favour that. Her last run at Port Macquarie was the best effort in this field. The unknown soft-track and distance questions are real.

A consistent type whose last run was solid at Port Macquarie. Blinkers and a gear change add some upside, and her midfield position should suit a slow tempo.
His Hong Kong runs were up to a winning standard and he is dropping into a maiden. The concerns are a poor trial form line, no soft-track evidence, and a likely back-field position in a slowly-run race.
She is likely to settle in the first three or four in a slow race, which is the right position on this track. Her stable also has a solid Grafton record. Her record is poor, so the stake should be modest.

Book A Christmas Party @ CRJC Country Boosted Hcp (C3)
Best positioned in a slow-run sprint at a track that rewards forward runners. She ran a game second at Grafton last month and has been competitive in recent grades. Not a prolific winner and the jockey/stable numbers are modest, but the map and form give her the best winning chance.
He will likely be well back in a slow-run 1000m at Grafton, where backmarkers win very rarely. He is also rising in grade and a first-up-from-short-break sprinter.
A genuine Grafton sprinter who is well suited by the light weight and soft ground. She is a regular placegetter, but her back-of-field style is against her in a race expected to be run slowly. Still hard to ignore given her record here and the featherweight. She rates as a leading place chance with a win possible if the tempo lifts.
An overlay on the map. She is a genuine sprinter who is best on soft and should be handy from the inside draw in a race that looks like it will be run slowly.

CRJC AGM 25 November (Bm58)
Sun Topaze won this race type over the same trip at Grafton on Soft 6 two weeks ago and has the best wet-ground record in the field. He is in form, fit and ridden by a jockey who knows him well. Top weight is a concern, but the rain suits him and he should settle handy in a slow-tempo race.
He will probably be last or near it in a slowly-run race, and Grafton favours runners who sit up on the pace. His soft-ground record is also thin.
Flaming Genesis is the likely leader from a good draw, with a big class drop and light weight. If the pace is slow he can dictate terms, which suits Grafton's lean towards forward runners. However, he has weakened in the straight in most recent runs and has had a long break.
Sound And Vision is a ten-year-old, but he drops from BM82 and BM66 company and has a good record in the wet. His second at Tuncurry showed he can still run well over a trip. He is a genuine each-way chance for a place.

CRJC Christmas Race Day 29 November Country Boosted Mdn Plate
The most likely winner on form. Miss Fic ran a good third on the same Soft 6 surface at Grafton last start, has tidy margins in both runs and gets a booming local jockey-and-trainer combination. The extra distance is a question and she has little cover from the rail, but she maps handy enough and is only slightly short of true value. Preferred over Insain Chaos on map and track bias.
However, he is a deep-sitting type in a moderate-tempo race at a track where backmarkers struggle, and stable and jockey are both cold. Ranked second to Miss Fic because of the map.
A reliable type who has finished second in two of his last three starts, including on the same Soft 6 surface at Grafton last start. He should settle handy, which is useful in this race.
Bobbiwaa almost won on Soft 6 over 1400m at Taree and ran on well enough at Grafton last start. Second up with a handy early speed pattern, he can get a good position despite barrier 10.

Team Aidan Markets @ CRJC 22 November Hcp (C1)
Doingiteasy has been getting better and nearly won last start despite being held up near the turn. He rates a solid place chance.
A consistent type who has won on soft ground and was right in the finish at Gold Coast last Saturday. The stable has a strong Grafton record and the jockey knows the track well.
The most appealing win chance on form. Sunset Trail has the right running style for a moderate tempo at Grafton and has a good record on soft ground. Last start he ran second over this track and trip on Soft 6, which is strong, relevant form.
Steady On is the value runner. He led all the way to win at Grafton on Soft 6 last start and should get a good forward spot again.

The Kosciuszko 17 October (Bm58)
He won at Grafton last start in a better grade and drops into BM58 with a strong profile. A very fast pace should suit his midfield style.
Monaco Flyer has a good record on soft ground, including a win at Grafton, and has been running honestly in similar grades. A hot pace should help a midfield runner.
Thunderous has run well in good company recently, including a third in a BM58 at Grafton, and drops in class. He has a handy gate and should be close to the speed, which suits the track.
Cheating Lilibet is lightly raced, with a soft-ground win and a strong second at Armidale. An inside barrier and 56.5kg suit, and she should be sitting just off a fast pace.
