She ran on well from a wide gate last start and gets a much better draw. The back-of-field run style is the concern on a track that rewards on-pace runners, and a moderate tempo only partly eases it.

Consistent maiden who has run well in almost every start and handles Soft ground. Second up from a spell, she should be fitter than last time. Settling back on a track that favours on-pace runners is the risk, but a moderate tempo gives her a chance to get involved.
A well-bred filly who showed ability first up over a longer trip and should improve with the run. The inside barrier and handy mapping suit Kilmore, and the trip is no concern. Soft ground is untested, but the Moody stable's record and her upside make her a fair each-way type in a wide-open maiden.
Has not won in nine starts, but her Kilmore Soft third was a very solid effort and she is a genuine on-pace type, which is the style that wins here. Poor stable and jockey form hold her back, but she is a good each-way chance.

She was beaten a whisker first-up at Bairnsdale, finishing off strongly, and has since won a heavy-track jump-out. With no genuine leader in the field she should settle handy and get a smooth run. The booked jockey has been cold, but the stable and rider combination is sound.
She has run well in jump-outs on soft ground, and the stable has a good Kilmore record. The latest trial was a flat run and debutants carry uncertainty, so she ranks just behind the horse with a proven race-day run.
She ran second in her latest trial after a modest first hit-out, which suggests improvement. The draw is comfortable and the map is open with no leader.
Miss Graff owns the best run on soft ground in the field, finishing close to a winning standard as a juvenile on a heavy surface. She is second up and set to lead or sit just off, which suits Kilmore, but three leaders in the race could burn each other out.
She has since won a soft-track jump-out and is second up, a stage the stable's runners often improve.
She has raced at this level over the trip and showed early speed, and her recent trials on soft ground at Cranbourne have been creditable. The jockey and trainer combination has a strong record. In a race lacking a real leader she can find the front or sit just off it, which is the best way to win here.

RMBL Investments Rising Stars (Bm56)
She should dominate the early running on a moderate-tempo map where handy runners are favoured. Her record is consistently solid, with a strong last-start second at Tatura.
A genuine on-speed type whose best runs rate above most of this field. Last start was on heavy ground over a shorter trip, a run that can be forgiven. Second-up and dropping back to a more suitable distance, she can make the most of a handy trip behind the leaders.
Reliable placed performer who has been competitive in tougher company and now drops slightly in grade. She should be handy to midfield and can pick off tiring leaders if the tempo lifts. Winning is the issue with just one victory from 14 starts, and the missing jockey booking adds uncertainty. A sound place chance with win prospects.
Her recent form over longer trips was better than the placings suggest, and she gets a drop in class on ground she handles. A sprint and her back-of-field style are significant negatives at this track, and the stable and jockey are cold.

C&M Build Group (Bm56)
A proven soft-ground performer who mapped well and ran to a winning standard at Corowa on soft two runs back. He drops back to this class after a flat sixth.
However, he will settle at the back in a race with only a moderate pace, which is a poor setup at Kilmore where the winners are mostly near the speed.
He won well at Echuca last start and ran the best time of this field. He should settle handy in a moderate pace, which suits Kilmore.
A leader who drops in class and has form at Kilmore over this trip. He gets an uncontested lead against only one other speed horse, and the track suits front-runners.

Mc Labour (Bm52)
Adki is the likeliest leader and has a good record at Kilmore and on soft and heavy tracks. A moderate tempo with only one other genuine speed horse gives her a real chance of controlling the race. She carries a light weight and drops in grade. The risk is that she has faded late in recent runs, and she has not won for a while, so she is a place-leaning chance.
Knock Of Beers has placed over this track and trip, and ran to a competitive standard in a similar grade on her last start. She carries 58kg and drops in grade, and she should be better suited by the moderate tempo than a true backmarker. She has no wet-track form, and she wins rarely, so she's a risky but sensible chance in a wide-open race.
Mishima is the best form pick. It ran a strong second here on a Soft 5 a month ago, has been consistent at higher grades since, and drops in class today. It should settle handy in a moderate tempo, and the wet suits. Weight is the main concern.
Testing The Cugat is overpriced for a horse who has won at this track on soft ground. He has natural speed in a race where only a couple of rivals want to lead, and he races at his right level.

Coulter Legal (Bm56)
That was a maiden, though, and she now meets winners at top weight.
A solid, consistent BM56 mare who won at this level and ran to a winning standard last start. Soft ground is the question as she has mostly raced on good tracks, and barrier 10 is awkward.
Hard to beat for a place, having run second three starts in a row at this class. She wins rarely though, and needs the pace to collapse as she'll be well back in a moderate-tempo race. Her barrier and light weight help.
Her two best runs came on soft ground and she maps to sit just off the speed from a fair gate, a good profile for Kilmore today. The last two runs were weak but both were on firmer tracks.

Kilmore Ford (Bm56)
Switch Hit was beaten a nose-margin here last start and gets a soft, slow-run race from a handy position with the inside draw.
Dane On Tour comes in off a win and a Kilmore second, and is a veteran who has proven himself over the trip. The main concern is a likely slow tempo when he settles further back, but he has been ridden handier before and can be moved up.
Dance Lady won over this course and distance last time and is likely to be on the speed in what looks like a slowly-run race. A solid each-way chance.
A return to the wet should help him, and he'll get a midfield run in a slow race.
