Nations League draws the ace barrier which is gold on a position-driven Heavy 8 Rosehill track where leaders win 33% of races. Blinkers first time from Waller should sharpen him further. The map advantage from gate 1 with likely lead/on-pace settling makes him the most logical winner despite the Heavy track question.

The only runner with confirmed Heavy 8 form, finishing 2nd at Warwick Farm two weeks ago. Barrier 2 is ideal for the strong Rosehill Heavy on-pace bias. Waller has him primed second-up effectively.
Won impressively on debut at Scone but faces a major test stepping into Saturday metro Open company. Barrier 9 is a concern on a Heavy 8 Rosehill where wide barriers without early speed are heavily punished. Bullock in great form helps.
Won impressively last start and projects as leader which suits Heavy Rosehill profile.

TAB Highway Plate (C3)
Moon Sweeper drops sharply in class after running in BM70 and Group 3 company. The barrier 2 draw is gold on Rosehill Heavy, and his sole Heavy track start produced a win. Recent consistency (2-2-3-2) suggests he's racing well, and the class drop should push him into winning territory.
Ocean Tsunami is a high-quality filly with a near-perfect record, but barrier 18 on Rosehill Heavy is a major concern given the strong inside bias and on-pace winning pattern. Her last-start second at Newcastle from wide was meritorious. The trainer-jockey combination is profitable and she has upside, but the map and lack of Heavy experience temper enthusiasm. Best fit each-way given barrier concerns.
Dale is the standout Heavy-track horse in the race with proven wet form (1 win, 1 second from 2 starts including H10 win). The Rosehill Heavy 8 conditions strongly favour his profile - inside barrier 3, tactical speed, and ability to settle in the front three. His distance record at 1500m (5:2-2-1) is exceptional. Conditions today bring him right back into the race.
His 33% career win rate and proven Reece Jones partnership (21% with trainer) are strong positives. Last start 4th at Scone was respectable, beaten only 2 lengths.

Midway (Bm72)
Cold Brew is the perfect profile horse for Rosehill on Heavy ground - he won here on Heavy 10 last campaign and projects to settle prominent from barrier 2. The track bias data is decisive: front three at the 400m dominate on Rosehill heavy and Cold Brew maps to be exactly there. Although first up from a long spell, his trial-ready prep and proven wet-track tactical speed make him the most reliable winning chance. Top weight and ordinary jockey form are the only concerns.
Sir Les is unbeaten and has won on soft ground both times, suggesting wet-track aptitude. However, the class rise from Class 1 at Kembla to metro BM72 at Rosehill is steep, and barrier 9 forces a wider midfield run which is disadvantaged on Rosehill heavy.
He has zero wet-track exposure and all form is on Good ground. Class and ability rate him a major player but barrier and surface concerns limit confidence.
The class rise is steep but the bias setup, weight relief, and proven wet-track ability create a strong overlay.

Shangri La Impact ticks the critical Rosehill heavy boxes: proven wet-track ability (2 wins from 3 heavy starts), forward-running profile, and a winning record at the 1800m. Coming off a strong Kensington win for Gibbons, who is in form at this track. The class rise is the concern but her trajectory is sharply upward and she handles the conditions far better than most. Forward map will allow her to be in the prime 400m position the track demands.
Mister Rizz combines the most valuable assets for a Rosehill heavy: barrier 2 and forward speed. The track data shows leaders winning 33% on heavy and inside barriers 1-6 dominating. Second-up profile is strong (1-1-0 from 2), and his European form on soft ground is genuinely class-superior to most rivals here. Jockey is a slight concern but the map and bias suit perfectly. Class drop helps.
She has zero heavy-track experience and rises sharply in class. However, her win last-start was authoritative, she carries just 52.5kg, and Waller knows when to step a horse up.
The barrier 1 draw is gold on a position-driven Rosehill heavy, and his profile as a likely leader perfectly matches the bias. Class-relief from European Group races and a recent Listed/Bm94 placing make 62kg defensible. No heavy form is a concern but his Listed/Group 1 European background suggests adaptability.

Covert Thinking is materially underrated. Two-from-two on heavy ground, drawn beautifully in barrier 2, and gets 54.5kg with a 3kg claim potential. The Rosehill heavy bias strongly favours tactical inside runners and her wet-track action is proven. Maher resuming runners can win fresh, and a recent BM78 third at Rosehill confirms her class.
Drawn ideally in barrier 3 for the heavy-track positional bias. However the major concern is unproven wet-track ability and a sharp class rise to BM72 metro from a Caulfield maiden.
Bella Corazon is the most consistent BM-grade mare in the race with a strong 2-from-4 second-up record and a Rosehill win on her CV. Recent Scone third behind quality was a sound trial. The wide draw (15) is a negative on a position-driven heavy track, but Collett rides Rosehill well (15% strike).
A proven heavy-track winner with a sound second-up record (4:1-0-2), dropping back to BM72 grade after BM78 exposure. The recent Scone fourth was on Good 4 but showed she's racing well. Barrier 9 isn't ideal but the strong jockey-trainer combination (24% strike) and proven wet credentials make her overpriced. Heavy track conditions level the playing field considerably.

Ranvet (Bm78)
Amplify is the standout overlay. From barrier 1 on a position-driven Heavy Rosehill, she has the perfect tactical profile - early speed, proven Heavy track form (2nd Listed Heavy 10), and significant class relief dropping from Listed/Group company to BM78.
Barrier 7 is workable and he settles handy enough to be in the dominant on-pace zone. Top weight is the only meaningful concern but his class is well established.
Man Of Worth maps to lead or sit on-speed from barrier 6, which is the dominant winning profile at Rosehill on Heavy. The Waller stable and prior BM78 win at Canterbury give solid credentials, though his Heavy track exposure is limited (1 start, no win). Jockey Grima's cold recent form (0 from 20) is a worry, but tactical map advantage and stable strength keep him a top-three contender.
The mare has won a Heavy 8 trial at Rosehill this prep and carries a featherweight 53kg from a tactical barrier 5. Second-up stats (3:1-0-0) are encouraging and she's bred to handle the conditions.

Madrina is the standout heavy-track form runner. With likely leaders limited and Madrina mapping to settle top three from barrier 6, she fits the Rosehill heavy-track winning profile perfectly - tactical speed, momentum conservation, and proven wet-track action.
Shall Be projects as the genuine leader and has elite soft track form (10:5-2-0). While unproven on Heavy, his soft-going profile is the next best indicator, and his first-up record (1 win, 1 placing from 4) suggests he's ready. The Rosehill heavy bias strongly favours leaders, and he's the most likely to control tempo.
Couples Retreat draws perfectly in barrier 2 for a heavy-track bias that rewards inside runners and tactical speed. Maps to settle 3-5 with cover - exactly the Rosehill heavy-track winning profile.
Silver Serenade is the forgotten heavy-track specialist with the dream barrier. Class rise is real but heavy conditions equalise quality dramatically.

Vale Sandro D''Amore (Bm78)
Super Nui represents an outstanding wet-track profile fit for the Rosehill heavy track bias. With 2 wins from 4 heavy starts including dominant prep wins at Hawkesbury and Wyong, plus a strong barrier 3 draw and proven on-pace tactics, she ticks every box the track summary demands. Louise Day's strong association (3 from 10) and the 2nd-up improvement profile add further confidence.
The only concern is unproven heavy-track ability, but her racing pattern and barrier give her every chance to control proceedings.
Barrier 1 is ideal for the strong leader bias the track summary highlights. While first-up stats are modest, the perfect track/distance/condition profile and Alysha Collett's strong Rosehill record make her significantly underpriced. Each-way value play.

Touristic is the ideal Rosehill Heavy profile - inside barrier 3, proven 2000m at this track on Heavy 8 (2nd in Listed January), and tactical speed to take a forward position. The track bias data strongly favours runners drawn 1-6 with on-pace tactics, and Touristic ticks every box. Adkins knows the horse having won the Canberra Listed in March.
Forward settler will take advantage of the position-driven Rosehill Heavy bias. Place is safer given recent form blips.
Sayedaty Sadaty draws the inside alley which is hugely valuable on the Rosehill Heavy bias. Proven black-type winner with the Maher stable, and Regan Bayliss should be able to use the rails draw to secure a forward position - the dominant winning profile at Rosehill on Heavy ground.
The class rise is the question mark, but his trajectory is upward and the stable/jockey know him well. Forward-settling style suits the Rosehill Heavy position bias even from barrier 9. Wet credentials are adequate.

Denham Carter (Bm78)
Won at Rosehill on debut at track and placed on Heavy. Recent placings behind Lightning Glory and at Randwick show he's racing at this level. Barrier 14 is the concern on a position-based Heavy track but Nock should work across early. Class profile and trajectory make him the most likely winner.
Just Response brings exceptional career numbers (43% win) and just finished 6th behind stablemate Lightning Glory last start at Scone. Two wins prior showed genuine class progression. The major question is the sharp class rise and Heavy 8 track suitability with only one wet run (3rd place).
Midnight Opal ticks the key Rosehill Heavy boxes: proven wet-tracker (won his only Heavy start), proven at Rosehill (2 wins from 5), inside-mid barrier 5, and projects to settle on-pace which is the dominant winning profile here. The 49-day gap and ordinary last start are concerns but conditions today align strongly with his strengths. Tactical speed from gate 5 makes him ideally mapped for this position-driven Heavy track.
Applaud is the genuine value runner. The horse has a perfect 2:2-0-0 record on Heavy tracks including a Bench 64 win on Heavy 8 at Newcastle, an outstanding 4:2-0-0 first-up record from the Snowden stable, and a strong distance record (6:3-0-0). His only true negative is the 126-day freshen and apprentice jockey.
