No Friends is the only runner with proven heavy track form after a solid 3rd on Heavy 10 at Bendigo. Despite a wide gate, the small field mitigates the draw. The major concern is the leap from Maiden to Open, but in this weak field he has the best credentials for the conditions.

Lift Net is the most professional runner based on his maiden win, but heavy ground and a significant class rise pose serious questions. Still the most likely winner based on ability, but vulnerable.
Lady Puissance showed glimpses of ability in her debut at Flemington, but struggled on heavy last start. The step up to 1425m may suit her sire, and second-up with McNeil aboard she could improve.
And There You Go boasts the best form credentials, having placed in a Maiden on soft and then run 5th in a Listed race on the same surface. That class edge is significant in this field of mostly debutants and Maiden winners. The missing jockey declaration is a concern, but if a capable rider is secured, she profiles as the most likely winner.
Newitt/Hunter is a good combination and the inside gate helps. Pure speculation but worth a small investment.

Dustee is the clear form pick, having placed second on a Heavy 9 surface at Sale last start. He is the only runner with a wet-track performance, giving a distinct edge in these demanding conditions. With improvement expected, he represents the most likely winner despite being a maiden.
Harry Coffey's strong Seymour stats (19% win rate) add appeal. However, without any race experience or heavy-track form, there is risk. The stable's first-starter pattern suggests he may be forward enough to feature, making him the second pick.
The wide barrier (10) on a heavy track is a concern, and as a debutant she lacks proven wet-track ability.
Mirador is the class runner of the field having contested Group and Open races at Flemington and Caulfield. She maps well from barrier 2 and Luke Currie rides her for the Hayes stable. Likely to prove too classy.
Second-up from a spell for the Chris Waller yard, he should strip fitter from his first-up sixth on a Soft 7. Jye McNeil is an excellent booking with a 21% win rate at Seymour.

Mathletes is the standout wet-track runner in this Maiden with three placings from four heavy-track starts. She's been consistently hitting the frame this preparation, including a close 2nd on a Heavy 10 surface.
Yellowknife is a well-bred debutant from the powerful Hayes stable with leading jockey Jye McNeil engaged. Barrier 2 and the gear changes indicate they expect a forward showing. Heavy track is a query, but the stable's strike rate with first starters commands respect.
He's been competing in similar maidens and while recent form is mixed, his heavy-track placing stands out in this field.

Bradford has the best wet track credentials in this field with a solid 4th on Heavy 9 at Geelong. He may finally break through in this moderate maiden.
Carry Trade has been consistent with two placings from three starts, but faces a query on heavy going and first-up.
Dolce Carolina showed ability with a close second on soft at Kilmore. First-up with Luke Nolen is a positive, but the heavy track is unknown. Barrier 2 should give a nice run.
Ravens Glow ran a solid second at Albury on good ground before a spell. Resumes after a long break but has shown ability.

Boss Boy profiles as the most logical winner. His last-start third on a Heavy10 surface behind subsequent winners reads well for this grade. John Allen takes over and is in career-best form. The moderate tempo and on-pace bias at Seymour suit his rolling style. The only knock is the lack of a win, but he's knocking on the door and has the class edge over most rivals.
The wide draw is a concern on a heavy surface. However, if he can slot in from the outside and use his speed to sit handy, he may finally break through.
A Long Story Short showed enough last start to suggest a Maiden win is coming, but barrier 13 is a significant hurdle on this track. He may need luck to slot across and find cover.
The drop to 55.5kg is notable and she maps to settle midfield with cover.

Magic Millions Digital (Bm62)
Torn offers the best heavy-track profile in the race with a win and a place from 3 heavy starts. Consistently places around this level and distance, including a close third at Seymour on a soft 6. Likely to settle midfield and finish strongly.
Sir Rockford thrives on rain-affected ground and has placed in 3 of 4 heavy starts. His course win at Seymour shows affinity for the track. Dropping back to BM62 from BM70 is a positive. Recent runs have been mixed but the class drop and wet conditions suit.
The removal of blinkers suggests a focus on settling and finishing. The main concern is a lack of heavy-track experience, but her damline suggests wet ability. If she handles the surface, her speed could be decisive.
Pick Wisely has been knocking on the door in lower grade and proved he handles heavy ground with a 2nd at Kilmore last month. The step up to BM62 is manageable. Barrier 16 is a concern but the long Seymour straight and grind-heavy conditions help. He races like a horse ready to graduate to a mile win.
Azeola is a genuine wet-tracker who comes off a solid 3rd on Heavy 9 at Kilmore. The wide gate is mitigated by the long straight.
Princess Painton broke her maiden in style over 2000m and has placed on soft ground twice. First-up after a spell but the stable is adept at producing fresh runners. Barrier 4 allows a cosy run. While heavy ground is an unknown, her dam side suggests wet versatility.

Seymour Park - Stud Hand Appreciation (Bm62)
Timeonlees looks ideally placed after a decisive heavy-track win at Echuca two starts back. She steps back sharply in grade from a BM74 performance where she was outclassed. With Harry Coffey maintaining the partnership and good wet-track credentials, she offers the best balance of form and conditions.
Power Pivot's dominant maiden win at this track and distance on Heavy9 is a standout form line. He has since competed in higher grades without disgrace, and now returns to a similar class level. The butterfly bit is a positive gear change for a horse that can over-race. Craig Newitt knows him well. While he needs to find form, the conditions are perfect for a bounce-back performance.
Durban Harbour is a genuine heavy-track performer with a win and a strong recent effort on Soft6. He drops significantly in grade from BM70, which should offset the top weight. The wide gate is a concern, but on the spacious Seymour circuit he can slot in. If the pace is slow, his finishing burst can be effective.
Perfuse represents each-way value having recently placed on heavy ground. His Sale performance was a step back in the right direction after a poor run. He drops slightly in grade and draws a good gate. While he lacks a strong win record, his best runs have come with give in the ground.

Blue Gum Farm - Libertad (Bm62)
Forever With Ned is a heavy track specialist who has won twice on heavy ground. Despite a poor last start at 1300m, she drops back to 1000m and the blinkers go on. In a race where the tempo is expected to be very fast, she can settle off the pace and use her strong closing ability to pick up tired runners.
Induction broke his maiden in dominant fashion on a heavy10 track, winning by over 4 lengths. He steps up in class but is lightly raced and clearly handles wet ground. From barrier 8 he can settle just off the speed and produce a powerful finish.
However, he steps up from Maiden company, has never raced on heavy ground, and jumps from a wide barrier.
Sheila is a dramatic risk/reward play. Her heavy track record is perfect: 5 wins from 5 starts on heavy ground. However, she returns from a 10-month spell with poor recent form and is now 7 years old. A tiny each-way play or saver is warranted given the specialist angle.

Our Justify is the clear form horse, stepping down sharply from Open class. Her recent placing at Caulfield on Soft7 and Mornington on Soft7 read well for Heavy. The only concern is no official heavy start, but soft form translates well. She maps well and should be hard to beat.
Capricorn Star is the best wet-track credentialled runner in the field with a win and a placing from 3 heavy starts. She has been racing consistently in BM66/70 grade and drops to BM62. She should settle midfield and produce a strong finish.
Best Of The Best is an interesting first-up hope. He bolted in on debut on Soft7 and then was outclassed in a Group 3. Now gelded and with gear changes, he may have matured. Thornton is a good booking. However, no heavy form and a wide draw are concerns.
Gunado loves Seymour, having won here on Soft 7 in the past. John Allen's hot form and the fast tempo should see him finishing strongly.
True Prophet is a genuine roughie with upside. He won impressively on Soft7 two starts back over 1300m, then ran 3rd on similar ground. He carries only 57kg and gets a light weight. While he has no heavy form, his soft form suggests he may handle it.
