The stable's poor Bunbury record and her lack of wet-track experience are real risks, so she rates about a 1-in-3 chance.

As a two-year-old she led and was only just beaten, and she has run to a winning standard over 1000m before. Leaders win well above their share at Bunbury, and her recent trial win says she's ready. Barrier 10 and a contested lead are the worries, so back her for a place.
Aura Magna is a very reliable maiden: second in each of her last two starts after racing handy, including over 1200m at Bunbury. From barrier 4 she should sit just behind the leaders, which is where winners come from here. She is solid for a place.
Mr Kaplan's debut second at Ascot over this distance would win most Bunbury maidens. She was then outclassed in stakes company. The stable is in form, the jockey is among the best at this track, and she races handy, which suits the track's lean to on-pace runners.

Cartier Glow has the strongest form in the race. He should lead or sit handy, which is the winning pattern at Bunbury, especially in maidens. His only Soft run came when he was shin sore, so that result can be forgiven.
My Malena is the most reliable wet-tracker in the race. She ran second at Bunbury on Soft 5, which was her best run, and she also held her own on Heavy. Barrier 2 should give her a run just off the speed, and Lucy Fiore rides this track well. Her last two runs have been a bit flatter, but they came on firmer ground or at a longer trip. The softer track today should suit her, and she looks the likeliest place chance.
The stable and Pike are both in outstanding form, and she won her latest trial. Her only race start, however, was a very poor 15th. She is also expected to settle well back, which is a negative on a track that suits on-pace runners.
Bold Flying makes his debut after two good trials. We have no race data on him, which is not counted against him, and his trial times alone suggest he can run a big race.

Kettridges - Quality Stockfeeds Mdn
A reliable maiden who has placed in 3 of 4 starts and handles soft ground well. Second up with early speed, he should be much closer this time. His connections are out of form, which is the worry, but his profile suits a soft track well.
Hamadryad led and only just went down over this course and distance last start. From barrier 4 she maps perfectly to sit with Playa Del Sol at the front.
She has the most early speed in the race, and a moderate tempo on a soft Bunbury track rewards runners who are on the speed. She has to prove herself at 1400m and on soft ground, but her class edge in a weak maiden should carry her home.
Last Shout is overpriced after an eye-catching return at Bunbury. He placed in his only soft-track start and has placed second up before.

Western Grains - Integrated Grain Logistics Mdn
She is the most likely winner on form. Her recent runs are the best in the race, and that includes a good soft-track second. Her early speed should overcome barrier 14, and a slow tempo should help her get the 2025m. She is untried at the distance, but the rest of the field is modest and has repeatedly failed to win maiden races. Pike and Grantham are in strong form and win often together at Bunbury, which gives extra confidence.
He is the most reliable wet-track horse in the race. He placed on each of his rain-affected starts and was beaten a nose over this course and distance last start. He should race handy, which suits how Bunbury plays on a soft track. Barrier 13 and his habit of laying in stop him being my top pick.
She is a consistent mare and her form reads as well as any in the race. However, she has never raced on soft ground, and she is likely to settle well back on a track that favours on-pace runners. She is best used as a place chance.
He was beaten a nose over this course and distance and should find the lead from barrier 4 in a slowly-run race. That gives him the easiest trip in the field. His record on soft ground and Bunbury's recent poor record for leaders are real concerns.

London Rose is the clear form pick. Her Northam maiden win last start was the best run by anything in this field, and she did it in front. She's quick out of the gates, so she should sit handy outside the leaders, which is the winning spot at Bunbury on soft ground, and she has the lightest weight in the race.
Nailed'em has the best map in the race. His Class 2 runs are good enough to win this, and he drops in class. Top weight, a long break and one unplaced soft-track run count against him, but he places reliably.
Bonditram's first-up third at Belmont puts him right in this race, and he should improve second-up. The problem is how he races. He'll likely settle near the back on a track that rarely lets those horses win, he has never raced on soft ground, and his stable is cold.
Artie's Eclipse won over this course and distance on Soft 5 last month, and that run was one of the best by any horse in this race. She was well beaten last start, but that was over 1200m and she's back to her best trip today.

Kettridges AV Mdn
On form he's the most reliable runner in a weak maiden. He should sit just off or with the leader, which is the key position at Bunbury on soft ground. He has placed at all three of his wet-track starts and has run to a winning standard more than once. His long losing run and out-of-form connections are the worry.
The concern is the map: from barrier 14 she is likely to settle near the tail, and runners from back there win less often at Bunbury.
She has the ideal map, sitting on the speed from barrier 4 with the lightest weight in the race. Last start she led all the way at Northam and was only just beaten. The extra 100m and her first run on soft ground are question marks.
She's the value runner in the race. Her latest run was a sound third over this course and distance, and the start before she was held up in the straight. Barrier 6 and her recent more forward racing pattern should put her closer to the lead.

The step to 1695m and her first run on a soft track are real questions, as is getting a clear run from the back of the field. Back her as the top pick with a modest stake.
He also coped with a heavy track when placing earlier.
A reliable Class 1 mare who ran second over this track and distance last start and has placed on rain-affected ground. She should get a handy midfield run from barrier 9.
He likes Bunbury, has placed on soft tracks, and was only just beaten behind Solo Vega in a similar race last start. He also carries less weight than several of his rivals.

Her last-start fourth at this grade was a winning-standard effort. Her wet-track record is proven, and she draws to sit midfield with cover while two leaders take each other on. Her stable is in red-hot form and William Pike is riding at a 50% strike rate, so this looks the right time to catch her.
His form is as strong as anything in the race. He ran third at Bunbury over the same trip last start after sitting 13th early, and his times say that run was good enough to win most races of this class. He has won 2 of 5 on soft, and a genuine pace should help him get home. The wide draw and back-of-field style are the risks at a track that favours on-pace runners, so he fits best in the placings.
Few in this field handle a wet track better. He has run second or better in 4 of his 6 soft starts and won on soft at Belmont last month. His fifth over 1000m at this class last start was a winning-standard run, and his natural speed should put him handy behind the leaders.
She carries a light weight, draws a fair gate and should sit close to a fast pace.
