Joika is the most likely winner on form. Her 2200m win at Scone was the strongest run in this field, and she was very unlucky at Newcastle last start, checked twice and still beaten under a length. Calzino finished well behind her that day. Bullock's record at Tamworth and his strike rate with the stable add confidence. She needs to handle a good track and settle closer than the speed map suggests in a slowly run race, but her class should carry her.

The Big Dance Day 3rd November 2026 (Bm66)
She led all the way to win over this course and distance on the same going last start and ran time good enough for this class. With only two genuine leaders and a slow pace expected, she can dictate the race, and Tamworth favours horses that are handy at the 400m. The class rise is real, but the weight drop and a likely soft lead offset it.
Calzino has already won at this course, distance and grade, and the stable does well at Tamworth. His last start at Newcastle was solid after a slow beginning, though he finished behind Joika. The concern is where he settles: he usually drops back, and with a slow pace and Tamworth favouring on-pace runners, he may be left with too much ground to make up.
Backhander is the value runner. The weight drop to 55kg helps. The big questions are the rise to 2100m and the step up in class, but a slow pace makes the distance easier.

Syllable is the clear form and map pick. She should be the only horse with genuine speed, and Tamworth maidens reward horses that race on the pace. She finished ahead of Mongolian Master that day. Second up with that experience behind her, she should improve and be very hard to run down.
Mongolian Master is a reliable placegetter, running second and third at his two Tamworth runs over this distance, both to a solid standard. He over-raced in front last start and still held on for third, so if he settles behind Syllable he could get closer. Against that, he goes up in weight and needs to find cover from a middle draw.
Unalienable Right came back from a spell with a strong second at Tuncurry, easily his best run and one that stacks up well against this field. The question is how he gets into the race. Drawn wide, he is likely to be further back than ideal on a track where backmarkers struggle, and he still has to prove himself over 1200m. His fitness and improvement make him a place chance, but the map works against him winning.
Hidden Detail is the overs play. He has speed from barrier 3 and should get the ideal run behind Syllable, which is the position Tamworth's pattern rewards.

His last two runs at Ballarat, a close second over 1500m and a third over 1400m, were the best form in the field and would win this. He has the speed to hold a handy spot from barrier 9, and Aaron Bullock's Tamworth record is a big plus. The query is turf form: he is 0 from 2 on Good.
Usain Boss comes off the best single run in the race. He was third at Tuncurry after a wide, hard trip and ran fast doing it. His recent form is solid, with placings in two of three runs, and the stable goes well at Tamworth. The worries are barrier 10, stepping up to 1400m for the first time and a racing pattern that often leaves him too far back here.
Kenisis has the most relevant recent form. She was third over this course and distance first-up, and she has placed in three of four runs at 1400m. Second-up from a spell, she should improve. The downside is her racing pattern: she tends to settle back and run on past tiring horses, and her times are ordinary. That is a tough way to win at Tamworth with a moderate pace, so she looks more likely to place than to win.
Thirty Degrees is the overlay. He should lead from barrier 1 in a race with a moderate pace on a track where maiden leaders do well. He does have 13 starts without a win and has to prove he can see out 1400m.

Both runs this preparation were good enough to win this race. His Tamworth second last start came after he was checked, so he's better than the result shows. His early speed puts him just behind the likely leaders Nugget Smart and Hinto in a moderately run race, and that position has been winning at Tamworth. Bullock is in form and rides this track well. He has to prove himself at 1400m and carries 59kg, but he's clearly the one to beat.
Should lead, which suits Tamworth, and was beaten by a nose and a half-head in his last two runs over this trip. His recent form holds up against most of these, and he has won at this track and distance. Against that, he has won only once from 18 starts, is winless on good ground and keeps getting caught late. Dunquin should be sitting right behind him.
Her form looks poor on paper but she has excuses. She was bumped and crowded early at Tamworth last start. Before that she finished fourth in a stronger race at Scone, making up plenty of ground late. She drops in class, handles good ground and comes from a stable that does very well at this track with this jockey. Her main problem is that she settles back in the field on a track that favours runners up on the pace.
His Gunnedah win over 1400m was the best run by any horse in this field. He led and kept going to win. He comes back from a stronger Rosehill race, has the early speed to be on the pace from barrier 4, and has won at Tamworth. The risks are clear: stewards reported a heart irregularity twice in his last four runs, and his form is up and down.

Concrete Industry Supplies (Bm58)
His near-miss at Tamworth in a stronger BM66 was a winning-standard run, and his Scone BM58 win in July is the best recent run by anyone in this field. Dropping back in grade with a handy map, he should be in the right spot at the 400m. His record on good ground and the weak strike rates of his jockey and trainer at Tamworth are the concerns, but the form stands out in a modest field.
He won this race's track and distance a fortnight ago on the same going, and the run holds up as a genuine winning performance. Aaron Bullock's Tamworth record is a real plus. The worry is the map: from barrier 11 he'll settle back, and horses that far back struggle at Tamworth. The rise in grade is modest, and in a weak BM58 his current form gives him a strong place chance.
A progressive filly who maps perfectly from barrier 1 with a light weight and an in-form stable. Her maiden win at Bathurst came despite slipping on the turn, and she has shown speed in every run. The rise to BM58 against seasoned horses and the new distance are real questions, and her form so far hasn't reached the standard needed to win this.
Both runs at the mile have produced a second, and as a four-year-old he's still improving.

Brain Foundation Markets 15th November 2026 Spring Cup (Bm82)
His city second at Rosehill is the best run in this field, and he is 3 from 5 on good ground. Dropping to 55kg with his winning jockey helps, and barrier 3 should let Looker find cover rather than drop right out. The main worry is where he settles in a race with only one leader.
He has the easiest run on the map: likely to lead alone at Tamworth, where on-pace runners dominate, with the track's leading jockey aboard. His February win here was a standout run. Against him, he returns from a break after three poor runs and has never won at 1200m. Take him for a place.
A consistent horse who has run close to winning standard in each of his recent starts. His fourth in a Tamworth Bm82 at this distance last month shows he can compete in this grade. Barrier 5 and his usual pace should put him just behind the leader, the spot that wins most races here.
She is the class runner in the race. She comes out of Sydney Highway company, where her last two runs were better than most of these have produced at country BM82 level. Her early speed should get her handy from barrier 11 behind a fast tempo, and that is the winning pattern at Tamworth.
She was a close 2nd in a Tamworth BM82 last start despite jumping awkwardly. She meets similar opponents again and should improve on that run with a clean start. Leaders win well above their share here and she is the likeliest to lead, although barrier 12 and a clash with Taipan Legend could make the tempo too hot for her. She places reliably and is fairly handicapped at the minimum weight.
His best form from last spring would make him hard to beat, and his poor first-up run came after he was checked early and pulled hard.

West Leagues Club Tamworth Hcp (C3)
Haney is the most reliable form horse in the race. All three of his recent runs were up to winning standard, and one of them was a close fourth over this course and distance at this class, where he was checked late. He drops to 54.5kg, draws barrier 1 and races handy, so he should get a sit just behind a fast pace set by Irish Jig and Tomoe Gozen.
Brighella franked his liking for this course when he won a stronger race here last start despite racing three wide without cover. He is 6:2-0-1 over the track and distance. Carrying 3kg more is a query, and his overall strike rate is modest, but a fast tempo should suit him coming from midfield.
Irish Jig has the speed to use the Tamworth leader bias and has run to a winning standard at his best. However, he weakened in the straight in his last two runs and now carries 60.5kg with a 44-day break. He also has to handle pressure from Tomoe Gozen in a fast-run race. The drop back to 1000m could help him hold on, so he is worth including in exotics.
Miss Mercy is consistent, won over this course and distance in June and was far from disgraced in a Class 3 here in August. She ran well to finish second last start after missing the start. With barrier 4 and 55kg she can sit handy behind the speed.
