Koibito brings the strongest last-start performance in the race, running to a winning standard when leading and just nabbed at Newcastle first-up. She is placed on Soft and Heavy ground, went within a nose over 1550m on a Soft 7 last campaign, and has the speed to be in the first few on a track that punishes backmarkers. The step to the mile second-up looks ideal rather than a query.

Barrier 1 helps him avoid getting too far back.
Markos Port has improved sharply in two starts, and his narrow Goulburn defeat on a Soft 5, in blinkers and ridden on the speed, was one of the better recent efforts in this field. He draws to land in the first four, which is the right place to be at Warwick Farm. The mile is the question: he is a son of Hellbent stepping up 200m into unknown territory.
She ran on for fourth on debut and then finished third at Kembla despite being held up until the 200m, so that margin undersells her.

Jacquinot First Crop 2yos (Bm68)
His first-up Canterbury win was run in quick time and is as good as anything in this field, and he has already run second on Soft at this track and trip. From barrier 1 he should land in the first three, which is where Warwick Farm sprints are won. The 60kg and the stable's quiet run are the queries, but he has the best blend of proven ability, fitness and map.
Lightly raced filly who led all the way on debut at Kembla and looks the likely leader here. Her two trial wins on Soft ground, one at this track, suggest the going will not bother her, though she is yet to race on it. The moderate tempo and the track's lean to on-pace runners both suit.
Classy filly whose all-the-way Soft track win at Canterbury in June matches the best form in this race. She trialled well at Rosehill to come back and has the draw and speed to be right on the pace. The concerns are that she has not raced since June, blood was found in a nostril after that win, and 1100m may prove short of her best. She has genuine winning claims if she returns in the same order.
His Gosford second on Soft ground stacks up with the best form in the race, and he won his Hawkesbury maiden since while still doing things wrong. He showed at Gosford that he can take a handier position, though.

My Charm has the best recent form in the race: a dominant soft-track win at Hawkesbury, then a close second at this grade when held up at Kensington. Her fourth here 11 days ago was better than it reads, as she was shuffled back from the outside gate in a slowly-run race and still finished within two lengths. The slow tempo is the concern, but in a seven-horse field she should be within striking range.
Millie De Lune gets the run of the race from barrier 1 and should sit just behind a moderate tempo, which is the ideal pattern at Warwick Farm. Her Canterbury second at this grade was full of merit after a very awkward start and she is bred to appreciate 2110m. Against her, the soft-track record of 8:1-0-0 is underwhelming and her best performances sit a little below the top pick's.
His best form, a strong second at Flemington in autumn, would be competitive here, yet both runs this campaign have been flat, including an eighth at this track when stewards queried the run. His rider last start said he did not corner well and wants a bigger track, which is a worry on this tight circuit. He also gets back in a slowly-run race and is unproven at the trip. He has the talent to win but needs to bounce back.
Fantazy Man is the speculative play. He was disappointing first-up here over a similar trip, but that was his first run in over a year, he began awkwardly and was bumped early, and his rider felt softer ground would help. Second-up from this stable, he should race on the speed in a race with only one genuine leader, which is the best place to be at Warwick Farm.

Drinkwise Mile (Bm72)
Her last three runs have all been to a winning standard for this grade, including a front-running second over this track and distance on Soft 5 in a stronger mares' race. She drops in class, maps to sit in the first three and beat Burn The Sky home last start. The queries are 60.5kg and no win yet at the mile or on soft, but her placings on both suggest that is circumstance, not a flaw.
The main danger. A lightly raced four-year-old with Stakes exposure, she improved sharply second-up when fourth over this course and distance on Soft 5, inconvenienced late. She handles wet ground, draws barrier 2 and should peak third-up. However, she finished behind Storm Season that day, her best run this preparation still sits a notch below that mare, and she will need to settle closer than usual at a track that is tough on backmarkers.
Won at this grade at Kensington last start in a run that stacks up with the best in this race, and she has three wins from eight at the mile. Barrier 3 and her early speed should see her lead or share the lead at a moderate tempo, the right pattern for Warwick Farm. Each-way player.
The value runner. Three of her four wins are on soft ground and she drops in grade after a luckless second at Canberra, where she raced keenly and was held up until the 100m. She has been consistent all preparation and the stable is flying. The risk is her get-back pattern at a track that punishes backmarkers, though an eight-horse field limits the damage.

Inglis Ready2race Sale 15 Oct (Bm72)
His Melbourne runs in stronger grade, particularly the Sandown third on soft ground, are the best recent efforts in this field, and he had an excuse at Caulfield when he lost a plate over 1800m. He maps to control from barrier 2 at a track where on-pace runners dominate, and he has won his only start over this course and distance. The query is how strongly he finishes off a mile, but the moderate tempo should help.
The main danger. His last-start fourth, beaten under half a length over this exact course and distance on similar ground, is as relevant a formline as any here, and he was held up the run before. He will be ridden positively from barrier 6 and should land in the first four, right where winners come from at this track.
A progressive four-year-old who won at this grade at Canterbury last start and has an excellent record at the mile and on soft ground. He keeps improving with each run and Zac Lloyd sticks. The wide gate is the concern at a track that punishes horses who get back, so he will need luck to slot in midfield with cover.
The overlay. Back at a mile, where he has four wins and three thirds from seven starts, and on soft ground, where he has won four of seven. His two runs at this grade were over 1900m, which looks beyond his best, and he bounced back to win at the mile last start. He maps to sit just behind the leaders from barrier 5, the ideal spot here.

Schweppes (Bm72)
She ran the best recent race of any runner here when leading and holding on for third at this grade first-up at Canterbury, beaten just over half a length. She now steps to 1400m, where she has won three of ten, and is second-up with a solid wet-track record. The wide gate is the query, but she has the speed to cross and sit handy.
A reliable type who keeps running honest races at this grade, including a win here in June and two close seconds since. He is proven on soft ground and at the track, and his on-pace style fits the Warwick Farm pattern. The step from 1100m to 1400m is the unknown, as his recent form is all sprinting and he has been one-paced late. He is more a placegetter than a winner, but he should run well if he settles handy.
He led and was only beaten a length at this grade over 1550m last start, and the drop back to 1400m suits a horse who has been found out late. Barrier 1, a light weight and a moderate tempo should let him dictate on a track where on-pace runners hold a clear edge. His two career wins have both come on soft ground. He is the most likely winner, though not a big overlay.
The class dropper of the race. His first-up sixth in far stronger company at Bathurst, carrying a big weight, was a run that stacks up well against this field.

Toyota Forklifts (Bm100)
His two BM88 defeats were both at 1100m under big weights after wide, keen runs; back to 1000m he is unbeaten in three, including a win here. He drops 5kg, handles soft ground and should sit in the first four.
The form overlay. His record is much better with give in the track: five wins and two seconds from eight wet starts. He is fit, has early speed and drops sharply in class.
A mare with a sharp turn of foot who won her only 1000m start on soft ground and ran on well in stakes races over further in Queensland. Barrier 3, 54kg and a fast tempo give her the chance to save ground and finish hard.
He has won six of 12 starts, and his King's Plate win in March was the best performance any of these has produced. He was also close up in the Takeover Target and handles soft ground. He returns from a break since May off two trials and has never raced at 1000m, so it may be too sharp.

TAB (Bm72)
His first-up Canterbury win at this grade was run to a standard nothing else here has matched recently, and he is a lightly raced four-year-old with three wins from four starts. He has the speed to hold a forward spot from barrier 6, which is the place to be at Warwick Farm. The queries are an untested wet-track record in races, although he trialled well on soft ground, and likely pace pressure under 60.5kg. On form he is the most likely winner.
The main danger. He drops in grade after two eye-catching runs at Rosehill where wide draws forced him back and he found trouble late, including being held up on heels last start. He handles soft ground and barrier 1 should let him settle much closer on what looks a strongly run race. Against him are a rise to 59.5kg, a modest winning strike rate and the chance of being pocketed on the rail.
He closed well for second over a too-short 900m last start and returns to his best trip of 1100m. From barrier 3 with Nash Rawiller aboard he should settle handy enough behind a fast speed.
The value runner. She won a stronger mares' race at Randwick in April and ran respectably in stakes company on Soft 7 before that, so this is a clear drop in grade. She has won three of four starts on rain-affected ground and won at her only Warwick Farm appearance. She has not raced since May but has trialled twice and the Lees stable does well here.
