He is 5:1-2-1 on soft, maps on the speed from barrier 5, and gets Chris Parnham in the saddle.

Hez Got The Safe was far from disgraced last time, finishing fourth in this same race shape while being held up at a vital stage. The negatives are the 61.5kg impost, a jockey out of form, and a 0-from-5 record at the trip, which keeps him behind the top two.
She was consistent in better grades before spelling and should improve second-up, yet she is yet to place on soft ground and settled seventh last start over this course. With only one genuine leader and a slow tempo expected, her back-running pattern may leave her vulnerable.
On Cue is the value runner because the map projects him as the only genuine leader in a race with a slow tempo, a powerful edge over this 1000m Belmont layout. He has a soft-track maiden win and his jockey is in decent form, but his career strike-rate is modest and his latest run was poor.

Vampi Queen is the clear form choice at this trip: placed in both career starts over 1400m, including a closing third on a Soft 5 at Bunbury. She maps on the speed but has shown she can settle back, so the expected fast tempo should not hurt her. The D & B Pearce stable has her fit and C Johnston-Porter is a strong booking.
The Grant & Alana Williams stable and William Pike combine at a strong strike rate, and his Lark Hill trial on soft ground was sharp. The concern is no raceday experience and a predicted back position on a Belmont circuit that generally rewards on-pace runners. If he begins well and Pike slots forward, he may be the one to beat, but the proven 1400m form of Vampi Queen gives her the edge.
Boutique Belle returned to form with a close second at Belmont over 1200m on Soft 5, finishing off strongly under William Pike. She drops to 53kg and has placed at the track before, but today's jockey change and a wide gate are concerns. Her only try at 1400m was well beaten, so she needs to prove she sees out the trip. Still, with her fitness base and light weight she is a genuine place chance in an open maiden.

Oscars No Grouch is the clear form choice. He has placed in five of eight starts, including a Heavy 8 Belmont placing, and the likely fast tempo should suit his strong late finish.
Bubbles In Rio has been consistent but remains a frustrating 19-start maiden. She was close up last start at Bunbury and maps to race prominently, which is generally favourable at Belmont.
Newhaven Prince has shown plenty of ability without winning, placing in three of five starts. His second at Belmont over 1300m on Soft 5 two runs back is strong form for this race, and Jarrad Noske is a positive booking. The drop back to 1200m and barrier 16 are concerns, particularly as his only try at the trip resulted in a midfield sixth. Still, his consistency and wet-track placing make him a genuine top-three contender.
All The Stars showed real ability on debut, leading throughout at 1200m and finishing a close second. He then blotted his copybook at Belmont when slowly away and overracing, finishing well back. From barrier 5 and with Lucy Fiore's strong Belmont record, he should be much more comfortable today.

Glenroy Chaff (Rs0ly)
Champagne Crusader maps to settle midfield and run on hard. His last-start second at this track, distance and class on a soft surface reads as the strongest formline in the race, and he has already won at Belmont over 1200m. The tongue tie and strong Simon Miller stable engagement add further upside.
Lucky I Am should find the front and is well suited by the moderate expected tempo and Belmont's on-pace bias.
His wet-track record is solid and he has placed at this track and distance before. The main risk is his backmarker pattern on a circuit that is favouring on-pace runners.
Get Out Mick has been knocking on the door with a series of narrow placings in comparable races, including good efforts on soft and heavy ground. His 1200m record is respectable and he draws to get every chance under a light weight.

Grandad's Adiction has been a model of consistency lately with a 3rd, 2nd and 3rd in soft-track staying races. His soft-surface record is excellent and the inside draw should allow C Johnston-Porter to settle on the pace, a key edge at Belmont over 1700m. The obvious negative is the 1-from-25 win record, but this race shape and grade are perfect for him. He is the clear stand-out on form and gets the nod as the most likely winner.
Ginger And Tonic comes off a strong third in a Class 3 at Belmont over 1400m on soft ground, a clear career-best recent run. She drops back to Class 1 and is suited by a moderate 1700m tempo, although her only previous 1700m attempt was a poor 10th. Barrier 6 and L Staples' familiarity give her a solid chance to fill the placings again, making her a strong place proposition behind the main pick.
Point Gibraltar won a soft-track Belmont maiden two starts back and was not disgraced in a Class 1 over 1650m at the same track last start. The step to 1700m looks suitable and the 4-year-old still has upside, but 60kg and a backmarker profile are concerns against the on-pace pattern.
He maps on the speed from barrier 3 with a featherweight 51.5kg, which suits a moderate Belmont 1700m.

Afgri Equipment (Bm54+)
Sister Mary is the most reliable winning chance. She produced a close third in a stronger Rest 1 Metro Win over 2100 two starts back, and previously finished third in this exact BM54+ 2200 trip on Soft 5 when held up. She already has a 2200 win on Soft 7 and remains a 4yo with upside. Draw 11 and Staples' modest Belmont strike are negatives, but her distance and wet-track form outweigh them.
Eternal Romance drops out of Open/Rest 1 Metro Win company into a BM54+ and brings the strongest staying form in the race. She has a Belmont 2100 Open win, placed in 2200 Open company, and has shown she can handle Soft/Heavy. Last start seventh in a stronger race can be forgiven. The Pearce stable knows how to have them ready, but the jockey's recent metro strike rate and a midfield sit are the main concerns.
That closing pattern should be even more effective over 2200 on a Soft 6. He has no 2200 start yet, but the 2100 second strongly suggests the trip suits, and Johnston-Porter is a solid course rider. Only one career win and a wide gate are negatives.
Delicate Warrior has career-best form and maps well. He won his maiden over 2200 two starts back, then ran a close fourth in this BM54+ grade over 2100. The step back to 2200 is a positive, and barrier 6 gives Holly Nottle options. Soft-track form is only moderate, but he has placed on the surface and is progressing.

SGC Australia Hcp (C3)
Radiant Light is the most likely winner. He maps to sit on the speed from barrier 5, has proven soft-track form including a maiden win and two placings on the surface, and drops to a very manageable 54.5kg. Main query is limited career wins, but his consistency and suitability to today's conditions give him the edge.
Classic Ruler is a consistent performer who should be prominent in the finish. He has twice run 4th in similar Belmont Class 3 1400m races, both on soft ground, and now gains the significant services of W Pike. His racing pattern suits the track's on-pace lean, and his soft-track statistics are solid. The main concern is his overall win rate, but the booking of Pike and his fitness base give him strong each-way claims.
Pure Obsession comes off an encouraging second at Belmont over this course and distance in soft conditions. He maps midfield and should be in the first six at the 400m, which is a strong positive at Belmont. The main knock is the lack of recent wins from his jockey combination, but he shapes as a reliable place chance behind the top two.
Centre Bond is the value runner. His best form at Belmont on soft ground is good enough to feature in a race of this grade, including a Class 3 win and two placings at 1400m. He returns second-up, a scenario where he has won and placed in three of four attempts.
