The likely front-runner and a proven winner on heavy ground over a mile, nicely drawn in barrier four. He led and was run down in stronger BM65 races; down in this class he could pinch it if allowed to dictate on the testing ground.

Improving four-year-old who draws the inside gate, exactly what a heavy Ashburton mile rewards. He came from a wide barrier to run a close second over this trip last time and is still lightly exposed with clear upside. In-form rider and a stable going well. The only query is the absence of wet-track form, but the draw and handy position are big pluses.
