Cool As Ted gets the nod on form. He should be handy from the wide gate, which suits a track where on-pace runners hold the edge.

She trialled well, the stable and jockey are strong here, and barrier 3 suits the track.
Rebel Terra ran a solid third on debut on heavy-ish ground and the run rates well against the rest of the field. He should step up second-up, and barrier 4 helps. He fits as a place chance.
Alotofsoju has not won in 16 starts but is thoroughly at home on Soft ground and has run second at her last two starts at the grade. Barrier 2 and an on-pace style suit Nowra sprints, and the light weight helps.

Bold Conquer is the most likely winner on form. He is the one true leader in a race with no pace pressure, and he draws well at a track where on-pace runners from inside gates have the edge. His two runs have been strong, and he wins over this trip last start. The soft track and class rise are unknowns, but his light weight and upward trend outweigh them.
He has the speed to lead or sit handy from a good gate, and his Albury win was dominant. He is a sound place chance but not the best value for the win.
Kirwans Bridge gets the ideal inside gate and has shown he can run to this level, going down narrowly over 1200m at Goulburn. First-up from a long spell is a concern, along with a cold stable, but a drop in grade and a handy draw give him a place in the top three. He needs to settle close to the speed from barrier 1.
Remy's Bro is a consistent type with a record of placings, a heavy-track win and a win at 1200m. Barrier 11 and top weight are negatives, but a good jockey booking and proven wet form make him a fair each-way chance.

Kevin & Dawn Robinson Memorial (Bm58)
He won a Bench. 58 on soft ground last start with a strong finish and has run competitively at a higher level. He can park handy from a good gate in a moderately run race, which is the best position at Nowra. The 61kg top weight is a concern but he has carried big weights well.
A consistent mare who handles the wet and is dropping to a more suitable grade. She ran on well for third in a Bench. 58 on Soft 6 last start and is well weighted with the apprentice's allowance. She is a regular placegetter who rarely runs a bad race on this surface. Her Nowra run last month was poor, but she was caught wide without cover and that is easy to forgive. Looks a strong place chance.
A lightly raced mare who has shown good ability and is in the hands of a stable and jockey who are working well together. She won impressively two starts ago and her last start can be overlooked as she overraced after being bumped at the start. She has run competitively on heavy ground at Nowra. Soft ground is not yet proven, but her profile suggests she can place and may go close.
His Listed runs were well beyond him, but he won a Bench. 55 on soft ground in March and has shown pace in his recent trials. A drop to this class and a three-wide barrier near the speed are in his favour.

Bede Murray Memorial (Bm58)
Winner here over this trip last month and drops back from a higher grade. Top weight and a back-of-field style are concerns in a slow-tempo race, but the jockey/trainer combination is strong, the stable is in form and the horse is proven at the course and distance.
Likely to cross and lead in a race lacking pace, which suits the Nowra bias towards on-pace runners. Ran a bold second last start over this distance on soft ground and is improving. Weight and a tendency to fade late when leading are the main risks, but the map suggests he will dictate and be hard to run down.
Knows Nowra well with two wins at the track and a good third here last month when racing close to the pace. Should get a handy run from the inside gate in a slowly-run race. Poor soft-track record and the weight temper enthusiasm, but he is a consistent place type who maps to be right in the finish.
A genuine soft-track horse who has only ever raced on wet ground and has won at Nowra before. Second up from a spell with a stable in good form, and he steps up to a mile with a sound run behind him.

CKB Civil Mollymook Cup (Bm66)
Looks the best fit on form and map. Should settle on or just behind the speed in a moderately run sprint, the winning position at Nowra. Has been kept on without winning against similar rivals and the Nowra stable record is strong.
Hard to leave out of the placings.
The only real leader in the field, and a moderate pace could let him dictate. He has handled soft ground well and has a good record at the trip.
Resuming after a long break is a worry, but his past form at this grade was competitive and he is overpriced for a horse expected to sit close to the speed.

Broughton Landscapes Mdn Hcp
The most dependable form line in the race, placed at five of ten starts including a strong second over this course and distance. He regularly runs to a winning standard, handles soft ground and gets weight relief with the claim. The wide gate is the clear concern, but he can settle handy and has the class to capitalise if the leaders weaken.
The Waterhouse-Bott yard will have her forward fresh. The map and stable still demand respect, and she should be in the finish.
Drops sharply in class from open two-year-old company to a country maiden, and he showed good early speed against far stronger rivals. A lightly raced colt with upside from a solid stable. The seven-month break is the query, and his two runs suggested he doesn't finish strongly, but the class drop and natural speed make him a live each-way hope if he produces his best fresh.
A consistent on-pace type placed in five of fourteen, with recent runs to a good standard and a light weight with the claim.

Turf Co Mdn Plate
The one to beat on form. He has been mixing it in far stronger maidens at Newcastle and Hawkesbury, finishing second and third against the pattern of a race that suited. Dropping back to 1400m fresh is no concern given his staying profile, and he looks the quickest horse early so the wide gate is manageable. Trainer and jockey are both going well. The draw is the only real worry.
The speed of the race. He should lob straight to the front and dictate a moderate tempo, which is exactly what the Nowra profile favors - leaders and on-pace runners win far more than backmarkers here. He placed over 1400m at Newcastle and was far from disgraced in a stronger Warwick Farm maiden before being softened up in front. The stable's quiet spell is the worry, but the map is ideal.
A model of consistency without yet breaking through. She has two seconds and two thirds from nine outings and handles soft ground, which suits a track that will still be holding some moisture. Her closing effort at Tuncurry was encouraging and she was close up at Hawkesbury. The stable and rider both strike at this venue. Faded late when favoured over this trip, so the place looks the safer play.
He resumed at Goulburn on soft ground, travelled into the race before being outgunned in the closing stages, and should strip fitter second-up. Drawn nicely in five, he maps to get a soft run in a moderate race where the form drops away quickly. The stable has a winning record here.
