She won a recent jump-out, carries a light weight and has a fair draw. Most rivals have run plenty of times without winning.

Grarock Plumbing Mdn Plate
A 3yo filly with a good draw and light weight who maps to race on the pace in a moderate-tempo race. Her Penola run was better than the bare result, because she was wide without cover. The trainer does well at this track.
A hardy maiden with the most reliable recent form in the field. He is the one horse with a leading record, but barrier 11 makes it hard for him to cross and lead without using energy. He has been beaten into minor placings regularly and has stopped when forced to lead. He is a place chance more than a winning one.
Classy Sassy looks well placed to settle handy from a neutral gate and is fresh and forward after a narrow second in a recent barrier trial. Her form has been steady at maiden level without ever threatening to win, so the upside is limited, but the map and light weight give her a real chance in a wide-open maiden.
Habondia ran one of the best races in this field when beaten a whisker on Good at Port Lincoln and has been solid in maiden company since. She suits Good ground, the trainer is among the hottest in the region and she should get a handy midfield trip in a moderately run race. The wide gate is a worry, but she is the most reliable form on offer.
A consistent type who has run solid races against better rivals in recent weeks. She drops into maiden company with a fair draw and a light weight.

He races on the pace, so a moderate tempo suits and he should settle just off the leader. The concern is barrier 12 at a track where the inside gates win most races.
Shujinko is the obvious second pick. Barrier five lets him sit handy in a race with only one genuine leader. The knock is that he has had eleven tries without winning and was found out when he led last start. Looks the clear quinella horse.
Paycheck is a query runner but the clues are there: top trainer, a perfect inside gate on a track that rewards it, and two useful jump-outs to have her fit after a year off. Her Horsham fourth was a pass-a-few-from-last effort and the form around her is ordinary.
Antonette is the roughie worth throwing in. Two starts in, she has raced keenly both times and tired, but at Gawler she was only three and a half lengths off the winner and closed off soundly before the fitness gave out. The rail draw is a genuine plus at Naracoorte, and getting out to 1430m third-up should suit.

Western AG Hcp (54)
Her recent runs, especially the placings and the second-start win, were the best in the field at this class level. Barrier 9 and top weight are negatives on a track that favours inside draws.
Magic Princess gets the ideal barrier and settles handy behind the speed, which is the best place to be in a fast-run race on this track. Her form on Good ground is consistent and she has won twice at the trip.
Lysander is a consistent type who gets the best barrier and should settle handy. Two of his last three runs were placings at this level. His wins have all come on Soft ground, so the Good track is a concern, but the draw and a good distance record keep him in the finish for a place.
Exalted Kate has been racing above this level and is now in a much easier grade on her favoured Good ground. Her best wins have come at around 1400m. She does settle well back on a track where closers struggle, but the pace is expected to be fast, and at nine dollars she is worth including as a value runner.

Donna's Electrical (Bm56)
Chartin gets the ideal run behind the likely leader from a good draw in a race with little early speed. It has the best 2000m record in the field and was narrowly beaten at this grade two starts back before stepping up at Morphettville. The drop in class and light claim help. The jockey's cold run keeps this short of a banker, but it has the strongest overall case on form.
Sharma Princess has a track and distance win and a pleasing second last start at 2000m. She gets a handy draw and a light weight in a race that looks suited to on-pace runners. The stable is cold and she has folded when pressed on the lead before, so she is a place-leaning chance rather than the main win hope.
Recent runs show a horse that finishes one-paced, often when held up or caught wide. Midfield from barrier 6 in a slow race is not ideal.
Prickly Poppy is the only likely leader in a field that looks short of early speed.

Naracoorte Refrigeration (Bm66)
He has run in Group 3 company and is now dropping a long way in grade, he wins fresh, and the rail draw is the best part of the track. A very fast tempo will not hurt a horse who can sit just behind the speed.
The very fast pace should set up his closing style, and barrier 3 will let him slot in handy-to-midfield.
Gets the nod over other closers because Good ground is his go and he has been finishing well from the back in recent runs. A very fast tempo should assist him. First-up record is poor, so he is a place type with upside if the speed collapses.
Fresh off a win and with good experience around Naracoorte, he looks overpriced. The jockey knows the track well and the horse likes this trip.

Kerkhof Concrete Hcp (54)
The clear form horse on recent runs with two close seconds, including a bold front-running effort beaten near the line. Top stable is firing and she's consistent. The wide gate is the obvious query at Naracoorte, but her class and current sharpness stand out in a modest field. The one they have to beat.
Consistent on-pace mare who has been close up in her last two and is nicely drawn to stalk the leaders. Strong local jockey booking and she goes well at the trip. In a race with plenty of early speed there's a risk she gets softened up, but she's a reliable type for the placings.
Races second-up after a fair effort where he led the eventual winner, and now lands the prized inside gate. He has genuine Naracoorte placings and is a winner at the trip.
Veteran mare who found the line well for two close seconds before a forgive run last time when slow away. She settles back and the predicted fast tempo should play right into her hands. Worth an each-way ticket.

Gordon Refrigeration (Bm66)
Extinguish is the one to beat. She has a real liking for good ground, is well weighted with the 2kg claim, and maps to settle just behind the speed in a race with several forward runners. Her two runs this prep were in stronger company and she was unlucky at Murray Bridge. Back to this grade and trip, she can pounce.
He was close up at Penola last time and drops in grade. However, his good-track record is a worry and there are other speed runners engaged, so he may be vulnerable under pressure.
Stargust is better than his last run suggests. Two starts ago he bolted in at this grade at Mt Gambier and he gets a much more suitable draw today. The concern is that his best form has come on softer ground, and his good-track record is thin. Still, back to this grade he can settle midfield and be in the finish.
Forever Waiting is the value runner. His record at Naracoorte is outstanding, including three wins at this trip, and both trainer and jockey know how to win here. His recent form is not flash, but last time he was badly held up and had excuses.
