He is the only confirmed leader in a race mapped to a moderate tempo, and his two runs at this track and trip were both second, one beaten half a length. A strong jockey booking and a comfortable lead suit him. Winning has been the issue, but at maiden level in a field with plenty of unknowns he is the most dependable option.

A debutant with strong connections. His barrier trial last week was a solid fifth, beaten under three lengths. The wide draw and the lack of race experience are the concerns, but the poly track allows wide runners to make ground.
He stands out on class. Two runs back he was beaten only a couple of lengths in a Goulburn plate race over 2130m, and he now steps down into maiden company with a low weight and a 3kg claim. A good trial third last week suggests he is fit. He will likely settle midfield behind a lone leader, which is a risk, and the synthetic surface is unproven. He still rates a prime place chance.
Only two starts, and she is improving. Both runs showed good late speed, and last start she was beaten only a few lengths in a stronger race. Barrier 2 gives her an economical run on the poly, and the 400m straight allows backmarkers to finish. If the lone leader runs a genuine pace she can get in the finish.

Hit A Lick has the most reliable profile of the leading chances. She has early speed, has run to a winning standard and gets a smart booking in a race short of proven leaders. She hasn't won and may be vulnerable late if pressed, but she is the most likely winner on form.
It'sall About Mary is a reliable place type who has been close several times and should get a handy trip from midfield on a track that favours stayers' finishing runs. She runs on well, but she has yet to win and the barrier is only fair.
She ran well above her place on debut, finishing strongly after being shuffled wide and losing ground. A genuine improver with a fast-run race to come.
Flying Forward is a trial winner whose only race start can be forgiven.

Kawana Dolphins (Bm68)
She is dropping in class, has won at the track on synthetic and over a similar trip, and has a good record with this rider. Last start's third was better than it looks given the trouble she had. Barrier 2 and a handy position should see her well placed in a moderate tempo.
A genuine contender with proven synthetic form and a good record at the track. Her last run can be forgiven given the slow start and wide trip. The wide barrier is a concern, but this surface forgives wide runs, and her speed should see her handy.
The inside draw and an improving line make him a place chance, but his win strike rate is modest and his stable is cold. He tends to finish off but may be trapped behind runners in a moderate tempo.
He gets a handy position in a moderate tempo and is the value in the field.

Kawana Dolphins Hcp (C3)
He was beaten under half a length over this trip here last start after being held up. He has won on the poly and comes from a stable in top form. Barrier 9 is the only worry, but the surface makes wide runs less costly.
A genuine synthetic performer who won last start and will be handy in a tempo that suits on-pace types. Top weight and a step up in distance are the concerns, but the stable is firing and he is in good order.
A genuine each-way type who is racing well. The claim helps, and a drop in class adds appeal. He needs the pace to lift to get home from the back, and a moderate tempo is not ideal. Not proven on the poly, but his late finishing makes him a sound place chance.
A long shot, but the map gives him a real chance. If he gets the lead unchallenged and slows the tempo down, the others will have to catch him. A small each-way type.

Ralos Star is the most reliable on form. Last start he ran second over this 1100m trip, finishing hard from midfield, and he has won on this surface. With a fast tempo expected and a handy draw, he should be able to settle just off the speed and finish well. The concern is a low win rate, but he is at his best now and drops in grade.
She won impressively at Gold Coast, drops in class and has a solid stable and jockey behind her. Against that, she is first up from a long break, carries top weight and is likely to settle far back from a wide draw.
Sling is a young horse who has run well against better 2yo opposition and finishes well when given a good tempo. A fast pace is predicted, which should help him come late from the back.
A reliable sort who has been placed in her last three starts, including a close third over this trip at Warwick, and she now drops in class. Midfield running suits the forecast tempo. The wide draw, unconfirmed rider and untried synthetic surface hold her back from top pick, but she is the safest place chance.
A hardy gelding who won a Hcp 60 on pace in April and has trialled twice into this return. Trainer form is excellent and the class drop helps, but the wide gate and a jockey in poor form make it hard to rank him higher. Should be in the finish if he settles close enough.
It's Kaos looks overpriced. She should settle midfield with a genuine tempo and has won with this rider.

Ikasara is the only runner who has won over this track and distance on the poly, and he looks the one to lead in a race with no confirmed pacemaker. His last run in Open company was good, he drops in grade, and the apprentice claim helps him. First-up from a spell is a small risk, but he is the most likely winner on form.
Seneschal has the ideal draw and a running style that suits a moderate tempo, and his recent runs at this track have been honest against stronger fields. He drops in class and has a good jockey booking. The concern is a long run of near-misses and no synthetic experience, so he looks a safer place chance than a confident winner.
Streak Of Winning won last start over this track and trip by running on strongly from a wide position, and he now gets class relief and a weight claim.
Run Lucy Run drops from Bm78 class and should sit on the speed from barrier 5. She has strong wins at Ipswich earlier this year and only needs a trail to be in the finish. She tends to fade when forced to carry the pace, so she wants to sit behind the leader, which suits this map. A sound place chance with an outside win hope.
Nightcapped can use her gate speed to find a handy spot despite the wide draw, and her recent run behind the leaders at this track was a good one. She has a strong partnership with her jockey and a stable in top form.

Zenith Electrical Solutions (Bm55)
Won on the poly last start and ran an excellent race at this trip at the track earlier. He can lead or sit one off in a moderate-tempo race, which suits.
A mare with a good record at the trip who does her best work late. She needs the pace to be genuine, and the track allows backmarkers to feature.
He has a good draw, a sweet map just behind the leader and a class drop. He is a place-type with only one win, and the surface is unproven.
A consistent placegetter who has just won and maps just behind the speed. The synthetic surface is the question, but he is worth an each-way look.

Kawana Dolphins (Bm58)
She gets a handy midfield trip from barrier 3 in a likely slow race.
Her recent runs have been right at winning standard, and 2000m should suit. Ben Thompson knows this track well. The draw and the lack of any synthetic experience are the risks, but if she is ridden handy in a slow race she is very hard to beat.
A reliable mare who rarely runs a bad race, and she has already finished in the placings on synthetic. The wide draw, heavy weight and cold stable keep her behind the top two, but she shapes as a leading place chance.
He is the best value in the race. He should get a handy midfield trip with a claiming rider.
