Tramca is the only real leader in a race likely to be run at a moderate tempo, and he drops in at the bottom of the weights. His second last start over this trip on soft ground was the best maiden run in the field once you allow for being wide throughout. Second up and with a gelding operation behind him, he is the most likely winner on form.

His trial wins and a fast time at this track show real ability, and the draw is helpful. A genuine winning chance but not the pick.
Bodmin Moor has been unlucky in running at several starts, with ugly barrier exits and wide runs, and his form is better than it looks on paper. He is second up, drawn well, and has the kind of tactical speed to settle just off Tramca. Without a place yet he is a risk, and he needs to jump cleanly.
He has run in the placings at this track and over this trip again and again, and the clock backs those runs. The negatives are his lack of a win and the vet issue last start.

The fast pace should help her settle off the speed.
A speedy filly who led first-up and tired late over 1200m, so the drop to 1000m looks sensible. The Munce stable has strong local numbers.
A hardy maiden who has been in the finish many times and ran to a winning standard in several of those runs. Barrier 2 and a handy map suit the track bias.
Overpriced for a filly with a close second over 1000m on good ground and a stable in form. She disappointed first-up on soft ground over a longer trip, but should improve second-up and benefit from a genuine pace.

Best form credentials in a moderate field. Nightcapped ran an excellent close third in a similar grade at 1400m and was beaten last start only after being badly hampered at the start. She is drawn well, should sit just behind the lone leader in a slow-run race, and the stable is in great form.
Vacillation looks the clear value among the top contenders. The trainer and jockey are a strong combination.
However, his recent runs have been over shorter trips and in a slightly lower grade, and the clock doesn't make him any better than his rivals.
Aratiri is a leader with a free run on the front in a race likely to be slow, which gives her a real chance of controlling and slowing the tempo. Her last run, when she blundered severely, can be ignored, but she has faded after leading before, and the jockey record is poor.

A fast tempo with two leaders should set it up for his closing style. His 53kg is a big advantage.
Lady Willpower is in good form and is rising in class. A fast tempo should suit her midfield style, with a chance to run on.
Cryptic Beauty brings consistent sprint form and a fresh second from the Sunshine Coast. She is at home at 1000m, can race handy and has a stable in great form.
She ran very well in a stronger race at Grafton last start, will be near the speed, and carries just 56.5kg.

He has early speed, a sound record at this track and a trainer who does well here. Barrier 11 is a concern, but he should still find a handy spot behind the leaders.
He gets a handy midfield position in a moderate tempo.
Ring Bearer drops sharply in class after running solidly against better opposition. He has a good record at this trip, draws barrier 2 and should get a smooth midfield run.
Pirouette Girl won last start and now gets a good weight allowance, which offsets the class rise.

TAB One Pool (Bm58)
She has been running to a winning standard and now meets a BM58 field after beating maidens. Barrier 11 is a concern in a fast-run sprint, but her tactical speed should get her handy across from the gate.
A solid second choice who has run to a good standard at BM58 level and should enjoy a genuinely strong tempo. Her last run was a sound effort in a race where she met trouble.
She has been racing in tougher company and drops into a BM58, where she should be more competitive. The inside draw gives her a good run behind the speed, and she has performed at this track before.
She has early speed and ran well in maiden ranks, including a win over this distance. Worth a small each-way interest.

He is the likely lone leader in a moderate-tempo 1200m, which suits at Gold Coast. He ran third in the same grade over this course and distance last start, and the stable is in great form. Barrier 9 and a cold-running jockey are the negatives.
A nice draw and a handy position give him a good chance in a race that should be run at a moderate tempo. He is a good each-way chance.
The clear form pick. He now drops into a BM58 off a light weight, and the stable and jockey are both in form. The wide barrier and a moderate tempo are real negatives, but the class edge should still make him hard to beat.
He has a strong claim on last start form, running second over this course and distance in the same grade. If he can settle handy with cover and the leader gets an easy time, he gets a look in late. He is a true value runner, not a main contender.

Keep It Real ran a close second last start and should improve second-up, and barrier 1 with a drop in class helps.
A consistent type who has run well at this track, including a close second over 1400m last month. Barrier 3 and a fast pace should help her finish from midfield or further back. Best treated as a place chance.
The form pick. Barrier 14 is a worry and he steps up in grade, but he can slot in just behind two genuine leaders in a strongly run race.
Cantankerous ran a strong race to win at Ipswich on Good ground, and the surface should dry to suit him. His soft-track form is poorer, and 59kg is a burden, but the jockey and trainer combination is productive and the fast tempo gives a midfield runner a chance.
