Most likely winner on form and map. She finished second over this course and distance four weeks ago on the same Good surface, settling handy and only half a length short. With no other genuine leader drawn, she can dictate a moderate tempo from barrier nine. Gear tweaks look positive for a filly who races on the speed. In a volatile maiden, the proven pattern and setup edge the classier but wider-drawn rival.

Klosters Midway Mdn Plate
Blinkers go on and the drop to a provincial 900m maiden is a major softener. She is not top-selected because the map is awkward from the outside and she is unproven at this sharp sprint trip, while a lone leader can control in front.
Reliable maiden with the best recent winning-level effort when a close second at Muswellbrook on Good ground. Barrier one gives her every chance to save ground and finish into the race. She is more of a midfield closer, so a genuine moderate tempo controlled in front is not perfect, and her prior 900m runs here were only fair. Still belongs in the first few on exposed form and the draw, ideal as a place or each-way saver behind the map horse.
His Scone 900m second was a genuine sprint effort and the subsequent Coffs flop is explainable after he began awkwardly and pulled. Bullock sticks and the gate is fine for a midfield role.

Pukara Super Mdn Plate
Two narrow seconds, including a nose defeat in much stronger company and a close second over this trip, put him well clear of these maidens. A recent Good-track trial supports the surface switch.
Iminastate brings open-company placings and a prior Newcastle third into a softer maiden. The grade relief is real and Latham’s local record helps. Wet-track bias in his best runs is a caution on Good 4, and recent shape has flattened, so he is a place-leaning third selection rather than a win threat to Klocke.
Bold Bucks is the clearest danger. He has run genuine maiden races, settles handy, and maps better for a Newcastle 1250m than deeper closers. Second-up after gelding he should strip fitter, and he already handles Good ground.
Air Of Solace is the value runner. He does not beat Klocke on current evidence, yet he is under-sold against ordinary maiden depth and offers overlay if he takes the expected step forward.

Pro Torque Mdn Plate
Party Rebel is the form horse. Her Scone debut was a high-class maiden effort, only a neck away after a wide run, and it stacks up as the best recent performance here. Bullock and the Messara stable are a potent pairing, and barrier 3 is perfect for Newcastle over this trip. Second-up she can improve again.
Barrier 2 helps. She is not the top selection because every run was on wet ground, she has been off the race scene a long time, and Party Rebel’s recent debut rates stronger for today’s Good 4. Happy to have her onside for a place share more than a win lean.
Esnaad is the progressive filly in the race. Two honest runs, a sharp last-start second, and proven at Newcastle on Good ground put her right in the mix.
Mille Feuille brings the best Good-track recent form outside the top picks, highlighted by a tough Super Maiden third a fortnight ago. Rails draw is gold here. Clear value each-way if the rider booking is competent.

Gateshead Traffic Solutions (Bm64)
Spenzalot brings the strongest form into this BM64. His recent third in metro BM72 company over 2200m is superior to anything else here, and the class drop plus inside draw put him perfectly for a slow-run 2300m. He settles on pace, handles Good tracks, and looks ready to control or sit handy. Clear top chance on pure form.
She can settle closer in a crawl and is a strong place chance, but Spenzalot’s higher-grade form edges her for the win.
Exorbitant Miss is flying with three consecutive wins and looks a genuine improver. She can finish hard and already has a Good-track victory. The query is the step up to 2300m and whether she can make ground if the race crawls. Still a clear each-way chance behind the top two on current trajectory.
Calzino took out a BM66 last start and maps to settle midfield from a good gate. The Singleton yard knows him well and he is fit.

Andersen Pest Services Provincial (Bm64)
Princess Cruizer is the form horse after winning this exact setup last start, flying home from near last over the Newcastle 900m on Good ground. Drawn barrier 2 she maps midfield rather than last, and a scramble up front only helps.
No Statement is a Newcastle 900m specialist with a superb record at the course and trip. Bullock jumps aboard off honest recent placings and he knows how to mix it in these sprints.
Ability is not in doubt, but the map puts him in a five-way speed scrap, his second-up record is blank, and the jockey is quiet. Too short for the win; include only for the place.
Yes Yes Boss has been running to a high standard in the country, including a tight second first-up at Taree. The rise to Bm64 looks manageable on recent evidence and new gear is a plus.

J&H Commercial Ladies Day Cup Conditional (Bm68)
He has been ultra consistent against stronger company, ran a clear peak last start when second at Wyong on Good ground, and the projected fast tempo is tailor-made for his midfield surge. Barrier seven lets him settle where he wants without burning petrol. The claim keeps him well in at the weights. Hard to beat as the most reliable winning chance.
The most talented younger horse in the race on raw strike rate. Back to 1300m from barrier five gives him every chance to bounce. He has already won at Newcastle and remains progressive, though the Good surface is not his proven best.
Has knocked on the door with three consecutive seconds, usually dictating in front. Barrier one is a major plus and the stable and rider are both flying. The query is whether she can finally convert when the tempo is genuinely fast and Miss Emma is also drawn to push forward. At the weights she is well treated and maps to be right there turning for home. Genuine each-way claims.
He is a strong closer who will relish a genuinely fast tempo and is fit enough off the quick backup.

NZB & Insight Building (Bm64)
Alphabet announced herself with a strong maiden win at Scone, winding up from midfield and asserting late. The rails draw is a major asset in a race stacked with early speed, letting her save ground and trail into the race. Van Overmeire is riding in excellent form and the O'Shea barn is firing. Maps perfectly and is the form horse.
Beaumista flew home for a narrow second at Scone last start, producing exactly the closing effort that thrives when leaders go too hard. Barrier six lets her slot midfield without spending early. She is building through this prep and the predicted very fast tempo plays straight to her strengths.
She drops into a winnable provincial grade. The wide gate and likely on-pace role into a genuine speed fight are real concerns over 1250m at Newcastle though, and her latest run was ordinary.
