The best-credentialed runner in the race. She won a Listed sprint at Morphettville in February and her recent beaten runs came against Group-class opposition. The blinkers come off and the Stokes/Callow combination is productive. Her midfield spot suits a slow tempo. Top weight is the main query, but she is the likeliest winner on form.

Sportsbet Same Race Multi (Bm66)
A progressive gelding who won first-up at Balaklava, sitting handy and kicking away strongly. He should slot into a prominent spot in what looks a slowly-run race, and the booking of Toeroek is a positive. The class rise and lack of experience are the risks, but he rates a leading chance.
However, he is likely to settle at the back with top weight in a race expected to be slowly run, and runners from back there win rarely at this track.
She ran well to be second at Mildura last start and the stable is flying.

Experienced over the trip and fine on Good. Barrier 10 and a drop in the pecking order if she settles back are the concerns, but she has been settling closer lately.
A recent maiden winner with the best jockey and stable combination in the race. The class jump is the main query, as she has never faced winners.
She has hit the placings almost every start, ran a brave second at this track and trip last week, and is well weighted with a claim. Barrier 13 and a fast tempo should suit her midfield, finishing style.
Value on an each-way basis.

Kosaji looks the most likely winner on form and race shape. He is the only true leader in a field mapped for a slow tempo, which suits at a track that favours runners up on the speed. He ran second last start behind a winner who led all the way, and he has the best jockey and trainer combination in the race. Winless but improving, with blinkers added.
Tikkamos is tough and consistent, with a win and three placings from five starts, and gets a handy trip just off the leader in a slowly-run race. The in-form jockey is a positive and the blinkers may help. Barrier 8 is wide but the 1800m start has a long run to the bend, so the draw shouldn't hurt too much.
Contrary has won twice over staying trips and is well-weighted at 55kg. She should get a nice run just behind the speed in a slowly-run race, and the stable-jockey combination has a strong record.

Fiora Blue is the only proven front-runner and the course favours horses that are handy, so she gets the softest run in the race. Her runs at Morphettville and Gawler against better opposition were at a winning standard, and she drops in class. Her last start was over too short and is best forgiven.
Chartin gets a lovely weight and should slot in just behind the pace, which is the best place to be at Morphettville. His 1800m second last month was a strong run, and he has won on-pace before. He's more of a placegetter than a winner by record but the light weight and map make him a leading each-way chance.
Capulet has the highest class of early speed in the field and runs in a much lower grade than recent starts. The 13 barrier is a negative at the mile, but the 500m run to the bend gives her time to cross.
Yarrawizardharry has the speed to be forward in a race where being handy is rewarded. He is a young horse and has been competitive at this level. The jockey is in great touch. The concerns are the untried 1800m trip and the likelihood of a contested lead, so he rates a place chance more than a confident win.
Lunar Vista is an improving gelding who has been running big races in maiden company, including a strong recent win.

Assa Abloy (Bm80)
The only genuine leader in a moderately run race at a track that favours on-pace runners. Its second here last start was a strong run and it should get an easy position from barrier 2. The lack of wins on Good ground and the class rise keep it from being a stand-out, but it is the most likely winner on form and map.
A solid Good-ground mare with a strong record at this track and trip. She should settle just behind the speed in a moderate tempo and has enough class for this grade. A sound place chance with an upside if the leaders come back.
On raw ability she is the best horse in the race, but this set-up is far from ideal. The trip is new, the ground is on the firm side for her, and she will be at the back in a moderate tempo at a track that is hard to win from the rear.
His win over this trip at Morphettville last month shows he can handle the track and Good ground. A last-start fifth at Murray Bridge came on soft and he was closing without any favours.

Peter Elberg Funerals Hcp (64)
He's first up fresh, which has worked before, and the pacifiers come off today. He should settle handy in a race with no standout leader.
He gets the run he wants, handy from barrier 4 at a track that rewards on-pace runners, and his last two runs here were good. He's a solid chance but too short to take on a win basis, so he's a place option.
A reliable performer who ran third over this course and distance last week and won at Gawler before that. He's well suited to the ground. But barrier 13 will take away the cosy rail run he enjoyed last week, and he's yet to win at 1200m.
A big weight drop compared to the leading chances gives him a real advantage. He ran well on debut for this campaign at Morphettville and should be sharper second up. The inside barrier will help him find a handy position.

Up The Den is the best form pick on a Good track. He won last start in a strong on-pace display and his only run here at 1050m on a Good surface was an excellent second. He has the early speed that suits Morphettville, carries a feather weight and comes from a stable in sparkling form. The speed battle is the risk, but he has the class and stamina to hold on.
Real Deluxe has been a consistent winner over the sprint trips this preparation and has the gate speed to take a handy sit behind the leaders. Her record with this rider is outstanding. She is slightly better on a softer surface and faded when forced to lead last start, but dropping back to this grade and getting a sit gives her a strong chance.
Violet Lovebug has a strong record for her age, including a win over this exact trip at the track, and she has won both first-up starts. She is a genuine chance but not a standout.
Gold Spirit is the likely leader and steps up from a competitive run second-up at Murray Bridge. His record with this jockey is outstanding, and he carries a light weight.

Florey has the best form case. She ran a close second over this course and distance on Good, followed it with a strong Murray Bridge third, and the jockey and trainer combination is red hot.
Diversity is the only genuine front-runner, and the track strongly favours runners that are handy. Her record on Good is excellent and she has already won over the trip.
All Too Mysti is a consistent mare who ran a big race last start and maps handy, which the track rewards. She has tired late at Morphettville before, so she looks better suited to a placing than a win.
Extinguish looks overpriced. She maps on the speed, has won twice from three at the distance, and her last start was ruined by a heavy bump. The jockey and trainer are both flying.

Bacash is the best-placed runner on form. His last start was an even return after a spell, and he should be sharper second-up.
Brave Apache won his last start over 1200m in a strong performance and has been consistently in the finish all prep. He should slot in handy from a middle draw and gets a fair weight.
The long break and wide draw are concerns, but he has been well tested in trials and his late run suits a genuine tempo.
From The Block is the main leader and is a tough front-runner, winning last start in a tight finish. He will need to cross from the extreme outside, which could cost energy, and top weight is a concern.
