Wasai brings the strongest exposed form into this weak maiden with three placings from five, and his latest fourth at the Sunshine Coast came carrying top weight after a slow start. Two runs back he finished hard after being caught wide without cover the whole way. The rise to 1900m looks ideal for a horse by Exceedance, Peter Robl's yard is firing, and from gate two in a small field he can sit much closer than his get-back profile suggests.

Kris Lees has a strong record here and Benjamin Osmond rides the venue well.
She Loves Me has the best single run in this field, a powerful closing second over 1800m at the Gold Coast, and she followed it with a solid third over 2224m. She is lightly raced with room to improve and gets in nicely at the weights.
Blood Red is the tough old campaigner of the field and rarely runs a bad race, having finished third over 1965m at Ipswich just nine days ago. He has two placings from four starts at this circuit and has twice been placed on the synthetic.

Complete Electrical Qld (Bm65)
The form horse of the race. He has won his last two, including a tough all-the-way success over 2000m on this synthetic track where he kept finding when pressured. He has been placed in a stronger grade before and brings the best recent form into this. A slight rise in class and a first look at 1900m are the queries, but he is fit, in form and maps well in a race short on early speed.
The knocks are real though: she has never raced on the synthetic, is yet to score at this trip, and her habit of racing keenly has harmed her before.
She is the speed of the race and, with the tempo looking slow, she may well get the soft lead her trainer says she needs. Her effort two starts back on this track was that of a winner in waiting. A genuine place chance.
He is the each-way play. His recent form at 1800m in stronger races has been better than the raw result suggests, and he keeps finding the line. The risk is obvious: he gets back, has only one win to his name, and the tempo looks slow, which will suit the leaders more than the closers.

Gollan Racing Gold Coast Mdn Plate
A lightly raced three-year-old who ran the best 1400m race of anyone in this field last start when a close fourth at Grafton after being forced wide. He is improving with every run and has a very productive rider-trainer pairing behind him. The step to 1540m should suit, though a wide gate means he needs cover in the run. On upside and form he is the one to beat.
The most seasoned and reliable of these, a consistent placegetter who gets an ideal sit from barrier four just off what shapes as a modest tempo. He was caught leading on a hot speed last start and faded; with the lone leader drawn inside him he can take a trail and finish off stronger. Hard to see him far away.
Likely to shoot to the front from the inside gate and, with a moderate tempo forecast, could get a soft time in front. He has shown early speed at this level but does have a habit of being collared in the straight.
Improving filly whose two runs have both had merit, closing strongly for third over 1400m here last time after settling near last. She produced the strongest finishing effort in the field and is clearly heading in the right direction.

Moreton Hire Community Cup (Bm75)
He won here last start in dominant front-running fashion and is a track-and-distance specialist. The concerns are that he is second-up, steps up in class, and may face pressure for the lead. Even so, his class and track affinity make him the most likely winner.
Ikasara is a class dropper with a win on the synthetic surface and a solid fresh record. He has enough speed to settle handy from barrier three and should be in the finish if he brings his best.
Heart And Spirit maps well from barrier one and has the services of a jockey who knows this track well. She has a synthetic win to her name and can be handy in the run. The step to 1150m is a query and her recent form is mixed, but she is entitled to improve on a forgive run last time. She looks a solid place hope.
He ran well last start and has a win at this track. The fast predicted tempo should suit his backmarker style, and he drops in weight.

Kollosche Community Fund Mdn Plate
King Of Valhalla is the most reliable form horse in the race. He has placed in both runs over this track and trip, including a close second last start, and he handles synthetic. The wide draw is a concern but he has the speed to cross or sit handy.
He gets back, but a fast tempo should help him finish over the top.
She's So Pretty made up good ground on debut after trouble and gets the inside gate. A fast tempo should help her late charge. She is still a maiden and will likely be giving away a start, so a place is the safer play.
Symo's Boy was a fair fifth first-up after a long spell and should be fitter. The jockey/trainer pairing is strong and he maps to sit closer from gate seven. At 14-1 he is worth an each-way ticket in an open maiden.

Arron Kennedy Memorial (Bm60)
The form horse of the race. He won here over the same trip less than three weeks ago, settling fourth before taking over late, and his two earlier runs at this track and distance produced a win and a second. He now drops out of stronger grade and the claiming rider takes 3kg off, so he carries 3.5kg less than when successful last start. Improving, in-form stable and jockey, and the map has him within striking distance turning.
His record here is two seconds from three starts, both at this trip, so the track holds no fears. The knock is the wide gate and the drop back in distance: if he crosses cheaply he wins, if he is forced to do work early he may be a target late.
She has not saluted in eight starts, and her pattern of leading and being collared late is a real worry stepping to 1540m on a synthetic track she has never seen, while carrying the top weight.
He is an eight-year-old who has not won often, but his last-start second was the best closing run engaged here and he was the only horse making ground on a winner that had skipped clear. He gets back, which is a risk at this track, but the tempo map suggests a moderate gallop that could set it up for a swooper, and his rider knows this circuit.

Coastal Tipper Hire Hcp (C1)
The clear form pick in a modest Class 1. She maps to settle handy from a good gate and brings the best recent form in the race. The queries are that she has never won at 1200m and steps onto the poly for the first time, but her overall body of work stands out.
The map horse. He is the only real leader in the race and a moderate tempo should let him dictate without being pressured, which is exactly the scenario this stable thrives on. His two 1200m runs at the Gold Coast this time in were sound.
Improving type who was unlucky not to finish closer when charging home for fourth over 1050m at this track first-up. He has raced here five times for a win and a placing and clearly handles the surface when things go his way. Second-up fitness helps. The knock is his old habit of laying in and shirking the kickback, but the gear he wore last start stays on and the stable is firing here.
The most dependable horse in the race: five starts for a win and four minor placings, including a closing second at Ipswich last time when he came from well back. He has already run a narrow second on this synthetic track, so the surface holds no fears. Trainer is firing and the inside gate should see him lob into a perfect trailing position.
She has done little wrong, breaking through at her second start on the Gold Coast after a fair debut, and she has the speed to lead this field on her own. A moderate tempo could let her control the race. The knock is the rise out of maiden grade and the fact she folded badly the one time she went this trip. A contender on upside and map, but not one to back with confidence.
He jumped cleanly and raced in the leading pair over 1350m last start before battling on for fifth in a stronger grade, and he drops to a handy weight with the claimer aboard. This track does not punish runners drawn wide as heavily as most, and there is no depth to the early speed.

Accurate Road Profiling Services (Bm60)
She races on the pace, lands a lovely gate and her recent efforts over this trip were the strongest in the race.
A last-start winner who produced a strong surge to score over 1200m, and whose closing style fits a race that shapes as genuinely run. The knock is the draw — he'll get back from gate 13 and needs the breaks — and he is unproven on the synthetic, but he is racing well and has the turn of foot to be in the finish if the tempo is honest.
A synthetic specialist who has already won over this course and trip and comes off a closing second at Gatton. He gets in nicely with the claim, is on an improving trend, and the anticipated fast tempo should suit his grinding style.
An unexposed four-year-old whose standout effort — a strong synthetic maiden win — is the best single performance on paper in this field. He is lightly raced with upside, has won fresh, and returns off a recent trial.
