Misil Beauty is the form horse in a thin maiden. She has been competing in class-one plates and was only beaten at Griffith after missing a run at the turn, then ran fourth at Leeton. Back to maiden grade, barrier three and a blinkers fitting give her the right set-up on good ground.

She has not won, her trainer is cold, and the Coleraine run produced no recorded finish after she was still last at the 400m.
He is a three-year-old on only his fourth start, drawn to sit midfield in what should be a moderate tempo.
Poorlittlerichkid is a long way short of the main form horses, with five starts and no placing, and he has stopped when he has led. In this maiden he is still the only horse drawn to lead, from barrier five, in a race the map rates as moderate. He is the value each-way, with the win chance tied to him getting an uncontested lead.

A second at Tatura and a third at Warrnambool are the two best recent race performances in this maiden, and he fronts up fit. The holes are real: no placing from three good-ground starts, top weight and a wide gate. Those stop him being a strong overlay, but they do not displace him as the most likely winner.
Frosted Amber is the most reliable good-ground horse at this trip. She has placed three times from five on good and three times from six near 1175m, and she maps just behind the likely leader in a moderate tempo.
Whata Stretch is a nine-year-old maiden, so the profile is risky, but he is the horse who can control a moderate 1175m. A jump-out win nine days ago puts him on the fresh side, and Le Boeuf is the best booking in the field. He has previously shown he can run to a winning standard in this grade, mostly when on the pace.
Atomic Blitz is unraced, so this is a trainer, barrier and trial case rather than a form case. Craig Weeding's recent strike rate is the best in the field, she jumps from barrier 2, and a soft-ground jump-out third is a usable trial.

Loveland Agri Products (Bm52)
Attaboom is the form horse. He won a 56 handicap at Echuca three weeks ago on the same good going, coming from midfield, and that was a stronger performance than anything else in this field has produced lately. A fast early pace set by Zamora and The Mariner suits a horse who can stalk and finish. Barrier 10 is the worry.
Ponte Arcobaleno drops out of a 56 handicap after a honest third at Echuca, where he was still going at the line after sitting back. He has the best distance record of the main chances and handles good ground. The 60kg and the outside alley mean he needs the two leaders to go hard and leave him a clear run, which is likely but not certain.
Yaki Ishi brings the strongest long record in the race and is dropping from handicap company into a BM52. His Fannie Bay third in a 58 handicap was a genuine effort at this trip, and a fast Manangatang tempo gives a backmarker a chance. The Donald ninth was a backward run from barrier 11, and he draws wide again.
The Mariner is the roughie with a map. He has five wins at the trip, draws barrier 2 under 54.5kg, and can sit just off or beside Zamora. Last start he ran third in a BM50 at Pooncarie, and his Casterton third and Port Augusta win show he can still run to this level.

Ultima Hotel (Bm52)
American Russ is the form horse. He was only narrowly beaten leading and fighting on at Echuca in a 56 handicap, and he comes here second-up into a slightly easier race. A fast early gallop is expected, so sitting outside Adki and getting first run is the right map. The wide gate and a one-win career keep this a place-risk, but he is the clearest win chance.
Minesite is the only runner with a win at Manangatang, and it came at this distance. He drops from BM56 after a tidy fifth from the back on the synthetic in July, and a fast 1175m should let him wind up from around seventh. Fresh is the query: five first-up runs have produced a second and two thirds without a win, and 60kg is a burden.
Sports Choice brings the freshest placing in the race, a second at Jamestown last weekend at a similar level, and she gets in light. A fast tempo and a track sample that has not punished horses from the back give her a realistic finish. She is third on winning chance because the two runs before that second were plain and she maps a long way back from barrier 9.
Steely Hustler is the value. Barrier 5 lets her hold a handy spot in a race the data mildly favours low draws, and she drops slightly in class.

Kenso Agcare (Bm56)
Chosen Venture is the form horse in a moderate BM56. He won a similar 1200m handicap at Warracknabeal two back, then closed from near last into fourth in a stronger BM62 at Swan Hill. Seven wins from 47 good-track starts show he handles today's surface, and a fast early gallop with two leaders helps a horse who gets back. The wide gate is the risk.
His autumn form in stronger races was honest, and this is only a small drop to BM56.
Asawin brings the right race shape for a fast 1175m on good ground. He has 3 wins and 3 seconds from 21 good-track starts and enough early speed to sit just off Simply Excels. His Swan Hill run in BM62 company was better than an eighth reads, and he drops in grade. Fitness is the query: the last official race was in April and Helen Burns is without a recent winner. He is a genuine each-way chance if the jump-outs have him forward enough.
He drops from a BM66 into this weaker race with blinkers on for the first time, and his only win came storming from last on good ground. A Penola fourth in a Class 1 was a better effort than the margin, and today's fast speed map gives a closer a fair chance.

O'Connors (Bm52)
She won over 1550m on good ground at Pooncarie three weeks ago, with Shal Exceed, Danzagrunt and Ovabent behind her, and now drops in grade on 53kg. Polly Brewster has been among the busier riders in this field. She is drawn wide and is predicted to settle back, so she needs a clear run if the lone leader keeps the pace moderate.
Barrier 4 gives Chelsea Jokic a chance to be closer than his recent back-half pattern. His last two starts were plain, including a fifth behind Shasam at Pooncarie, and both rider and trainer are cold.
He drops to this grade with visors back on. The set-up is the worry: barrier 12, a backmarker pattern and top weight in a race with one leader and a moderate tempo. He has also never placed at the trip.
He is the only horse to have already placed at Manangatang, finishing third over this 1550m, and barrier 2 lets him sit closer than the deep closers in a race with a lone leader. No rider is engaged yet, so that remains a gap in the form.

Nutrien Ag Manangatang Cup
Her recent third in a BM80 over 2000m, her narrow second and her win are stronger pieces of form than anything else is bringing into this country Open. She gets in light, handles good ground and should be handy in a moderate tempo. The gap is that she has yet to win at the trip and can be vulnerable late.
Miracle Spin has the résumé: a distance win already on the board, a strong heavy-track win in July and enough class to be competitive if he reproduces that form. Today is Good 4, which is only a fair surface for him, and the Coleraine Cup run was plain after he settled near the rear. Barrier 3 helps, but 63kg and a cold jockey-trainer pairing keep him behind Tyusix.
He has run third at 2000m at his last two starts, both on good, and his long record on top of the ground is the best in the race. A midfield seat suits the expected even tempo.
All three of her wins have come on good ground and she drops to 52kg after a string of trials.

Bet365 Bet Boost (Bm52)
He led all the way to win at Coleraine over 2250m, then five days ago finished a close third at Gawler in a stronger handicap, running on from well back. He drops into this grade on Good ground, where he has five wins from 35 starts, and a moderate tempo gives a horse who finishes off time to wind up. He is still winless in 13 goes at the trip and maps near last, but nothing else has matched that last month.
He drops out of a 62 race after a fighting third at Swan Hill over 2400m, beaten under a length on good ground, and a 3kg claim leaves him well weighted. That is stronger recent form than most of this field and he is trending the right way at a staying trip. The good-ground sample is thin, he usually prefers rain, and the map has him back from barrier 8, so he is a place chance more than a banker.
Pendante has the most repeatable pattern in the race. She has a win and two thirds from five starts at the trip, and on good ground she has a win and three placings from 12. Barrier 2 lets her sit midfield in a moderate tempo without doing too much work. She was placing in similar country races through winter.
At Coleraine he finished fifth, beaten under two lengths, in a 56 handicap, and he now drops into this grade from barrier 3. He has six career wins and four of them have come on good ground. He has to carry 60kg, his only run at the trip was unplaced, and both rider and trainer are cold, so he is hard to trust.
