Her Warwick Farm third was a strong maiden run, and her Rosehill fifth came after losing ground at the start. Bullock gives her an excellent booking, and the drop in distance and a midfield draw look ideal.

Hunter Land Management Mdn Hcp
A solid and reliable type who sits close to the speed, and her trial second suggests she is fit. She is a genuine place chance in a modest field. However, she has had four chances and has yet to win, and she tends to run on one-paced. She is respectable but too short to rate a standout win chance.
With no confirmed leader in the race she could cross and control it, even from the wide gate.
Her debut was compromised by a bump at the start, and she still ran home solidly. She has the best early speed in this field and should sit close to the pace from the wide gate.

Huxley Hill Mdn
He ran a strong second first-up in a good city maiden and has the early speed to lead a field short of pace.
Landing Gear ran a good second over this exact trip on a Good track last start, finishing strongly from midfield. Stable form is solid and he is in line to improve second-up.
Arthur Park ran a solid third at Newcastle last start and was held up in the straight, so he has more to offer. Blinkers and a good barrier are positives, along with a jockey in excellent form. He is a genuine place chance and the map should give him a sound run.
Escalopecan has improved with each start and ran on late for third in a Super Maiden.

On The Mic (Bm64)
Lensman is the form horse coming into a much weaker race. He was beaten under two lengths in an Open Hcp at Port Macquarie two starts ago and then covered ground throughout in the Taree Gold Cup. From barrier two he looks the one to lead in a race with no obvious other front-runner, and at Newcastle horses on the pace have a clear edge over the get-back types. The only query is the step to 1900m for the first time, but his recent mile runs suggest he will see it out.
C'mon Flyer is the one runner who has already won at Newcastle over this exact trip, and he did it in the manner of a horse who handles the sweeping turns. From barrier three he can sit fourth or fifth and avoid the trouble that has cost him recently.
He is the only other runner in the field, besides C'mon Flyer, who has actually won over this track and trip, and he comes off an encouraging closing third over 2000m at Bathurst. With the inside gate and early speed in a race where the lead is wide open, he can lob into a soft position behind or alongside the leader.

O'Neills Tyres - Steve O'Neill Memorial Hcp (C1)
The most likely winner on form. Italian Spirit leads comfortably in a moderately run race and has been running to a winning standard in recent starts. The step from maiden to Class 1 with top weight and an extra 200m is a real query, but the map and fitness give it the best overall chance.
She has finished off strongly in both runs and the stable is in great order. The query is the class jump and a moderate tempo that doesn't suit a back-marker.
Her last start over 2000m was well below that and is easily forgiven as the trip was too far.
Perini Miss won well at Newcastle last start, leading and running home strongly in a very good time. She will be handy again and any similar effort makes her competitive in a race lacking depth.

Hunt Hospitality Super Mdn Plate
Doralee has been narrowly beaten in a string of maiden and super maiden races and ran a strong second here at 900m last start despite being wide and hampered. Barrier 2 and a handy position in a moderate-tempo race suit, and Aaron Bullock is in sparkling form. She has been a perennial runner-up, but on form she is the most proven runner in a field of mostly unexposed types.
Bundy Belle won both of her barrier trials over 900m and is from the stable of Bjorn Baker, who has a superb record at Newcastle. She lacks race experience and the rider is not yet confirmed, but the stable profile marks her as a genuine winning chance.
Funky Fun won her last barrier trial and is with an in-form stable and a jockey who has already won on this trainer's horses. As a debutant with a good profile she looks the best value in a race of unexposed runners.

Australian Construction Group Midway (Bm64)
She won this class over this course and distance two weeks ago, leading all the way, and rates as the only genuine front-runner. A moderate tempo should suit her, and she gets a light weight. The main risk is Potomac River applying early pressure, but she is the most reliable on current form.
She has early speed and a first-up win. The wide draw means she may have to work to lead or sit outside Precious Girl, and fitness off a long break is unproven against older mares, which keeps her second.
A consistent mare who ran on strongly to finish third here at this grade and distance. She should be handy behind the speed and the stable and jockey are in good form. She has only one win, and a long break plus the gear change are small question marks, but she can fit in the finish of the placings.
A lightly raced mare with two wins from four, and her Kembla Grange win was among the best efforts in the field. She is dropping in class, has trialled well and has a jockey with a strong Newcastle record.

Maitland Rugby Club Maitland Cup Conditional (Bm68)
Jacenza should get an uncontested lead and has won over this trip at Newcastle on a similar surface. Moderate tempo suits a leader, and he drops from Showcase Open company. The risk is that he tends to weaken late when a challenger arrives, and he has a new jockey. A solid place chance with a genuine win claim.
Unreachable ran on from last to be beaten a short margin at Newcastle on her last start and gets the booking of a hot jockey from a good gate.
Poisen Point is the class runner in this field. She has won against Open and Highway company and now drops into a Bench. 68, second up from a spell. Her Good-ground record is strong and she has won over 1500m. The map says she will be back, but her last three good runs were from midfield or better.
Via Flaminia has been consistent in recent runs, including a second over 1500m last start. She is a young mare with room to improve and the Lees stable does well at Newcastle. A reasonable each-way chance.

Newcastle Car & Truck Rental Provincial Hcp (C1)
Howzat Harry has been a different horse this preparation, going down by half a length at Newcastle first-up before breaking through over 1250m here last time with easily the best performance of anything in this race. He maps to settle fourth or fifth from gate four and should be launching at the right time.
He was competitive in much stronger races last preparation, including a close third over 1400m at Kembla, and a repeat of that would have him in the finish. But he has won just once in 17 and resumes over a trip short of his best with 60.5kg.
Prince De Vega has been around the mark all preparation with three minor placings from four runs, including a close third in stronger company at Coffs Harbour. He has the speed to cross and lead, and on-pace runners clearly hold the edge at Newcastle. The knock is the wide draw, which forces him to work early, and a poor winning strike rate.
Am I Dreaming is the value runner. A Group 1-performed three-year-old, he drops from the Champagne Stakes and Sires' Produce to a provincial Class 1 and gets in light on 58.5kg. His only win came over 1300m at Hawkesbury when he came from off the pace and let down strongly, and he was badly held up in the Fernhill. The concern is that he will settle near last first-up, and coming from that far back at Newcastle is difficult.
