Official Business has run to a winning standard at each of his last three starts, including an Ascot win in this grade where he raced wide the whole way, and his last-start third at Belmont was better than the margin suggests under 60kg. From barrier 1 he should control a moderately run race.

Schweppes (Rs0ly)
She was outsprinted over 1000m last time but that run was better than the finishing position suggests, and the rise to 1100m is in her favour.
Twilight Star ran a creditable fourth on debut at Belmont after being parked three wide without cover, and she finished within a length of Juniper and ahead of Fallen City from that race. She meets Juniper 4kg better off today, drops to a light weight after the claim and draws barrier 2 with the sharpest early speed in the field.

Mc Equine Surfaces Hcp (C1)
His Northam maiden win was good enough to win a race like this, he is fit, and the map puts him right on the speed in a race that should be moderately run, which suits on-pace types at Ascot. The drop from Listed to Class 1 is enormous.
On raw ability this filly measures up as well as anything here. Her second and third in two-year-old Plates at Belmont were run to a standard that would win this, and she has a good first-up record. The problem is the map: barrier ten and a get-back pattern in a race that should be moderately run leaves her needing the race to unfold.
A mare with ability who finished strongly to win at Northam and ran well in both her other starts despite trouble. The year away and the deep-closing pattern against a moderate tempo are real concerns, so she is a place chance more than a winning one. She has been trialling and the stable is in form, which keeps her in the top three ahead of a group of exposed horses.
An honest Ascot sprinter whose best run here last autumn was good enough to win this. He has a sound first-up record, trialled well, drops in class and draws to get a good run on the fence.

She maps to settle midfield behind a fast tempo, which suits, and her Ascot experience is a plus. The only query is stepping to 1200m for the first time, but her pedigree and racing style suggest she will handle it. Clear top pick.
Improved sharply last start when narrowly beaten after leading over 1300m, producing the strongest recent run in this field. He drops from Listed company to a maiden and has the ideal barrier to take a handy position. The concern is whether he can repeat that effort at 1200m at Ascot, where his record is poor, and a fast tempo could pressure him if he leads. Strong second pick.
High-class two-year-old form, including a strong placed effort over 1400m at Belmont, and he trialled well enough recently. He resumes after a long break, which is the main risk, and his stable has been quiet, but his best form is well above maiden grade. Barrier eight should allow a midfield sit.
Race-fit mare who ran a close second last start at Northam and is second-up today. She has been improving with each run and maps to settle midfield from a fair draw. The main query is whether she can reproduce that effort at Ascot against metro maidens.

Choices By Dallimores Hcp (C3)
Form first: she is the one runner who can dictate, and at Ascot over 1800m she has rarely run poorly, with a narrow second in Class 3 grade here carrying similar weight. Her best runs this year at this track and trip were of winning quality for this class, and the last-start fade had a clear gear excuse. In a slowly-run race with no pressure she is the hardest to run down up the Ascot rise.
He has put together a string of honest runs that are better than his finishing positions suggest, and he held several of these rivals safe at Belmont last start. The step to 1800m suits a horse who stays on rather than sprints, and the stable performs well at this track. The wide gate and a slow tempo are the negatives, since he will need the race to be run at a genuine clip to show his best.
His Ascot run last start, when he pressed forward and only faded late, was his best for some time, and he maps nicely behind Mistress Of War. The concerns are real though: he has never run 1800m, he raced keenly in his last two starts which is a worry over further in a slow race, and he carries considerably more weight than last time.
Two starts earlier at Moora he ran to a quality a good deal higher than this race requires, going down by a nose over today's distance, and he has won at 1800m before. From barrier 2 he should get a lovely run close to the leader, saving ground on the turns, and if he reproduces his Moora form he is a leading chance.

The class runner of the field on what we have seen. Two seconds from three starts, the latest a nose defeat over 1200m here after coming from last, and she was the best closing effort in the race. Morton's stable and Parnham are both going well.
An exposed mare but she is the one best served by the map. She drops out of richer races into a Class 3, is second-up where her record is at its best, and from gate three she should park just off what looks a lone leader. Her best Ascot run over further was good enough for this.
The most talented and least exposed runner in the field on what the clock says. He won on debut and then charged home for second at Belmont, and the step to 1400m looks ideal for a horse who does his best work late. The problems are the gate, a race that may be run at a crawl and a rider who is out of form.
The form pick. She has been in the best recent touch of these, winning then placing twice, including a fighting second at Ascot. Drawn to sit handy from barrier one, she should get the right run behind a moderate tempo.
She is a two-time winner over this trip, led and won with the blinkers last start and stays in the same gear, and from gate two she can take up a handy spot in a race that may be run at a steady tempo. The class rise off a narrow Class 1 win is the obvious query, but at 26 dollars she is worth a small each-way ticket.

His Belmont maiden win was the strongest performance in this field by a clear margin, and his earlier Ascot second was next best. He has the most early speed here, draws to sit third in a moderately run race, and the rise to 1600m suits his style of knuckling down late. The class rise is the main question, but the opposition is largely made up of exposed one-win horses.
Her Ascot run before that in a stronger race was sound. However she is yet to place in five Ascot starts, has one win from eight, and is untested at the mile while mapping to settle well back in a moderate tempo.
Honest mare who keeps running placings and drops back to Class 1 after an eye-catching effort at Belmont over this trip when caught wide the whole way. Lucy Fiore's Ascot record is a plus and she maps nicely from barrier 5.
The rise to 1600m and the move to city racing are question marks, and 59kg is no gift, but the stable performs well at Ascot and he maps to get a soft run in midfield.

Spanish Armada brings the best recent form in the race. It won its last start over this trip and was narrowly beaten at Class 1 level the start before. It should sit just off the speed, suits Good ground and carries a light 56kg with a claim.
A very fast tempo helps a closer, and this horse has been finishing strongly. It drops from Listed class and had excuses last start. The negatives are that it has been well back in the field and has not won at Ascot.
Wiluna Lass has been consistent and in form, and she gets a good draw and a light weight with a claim. The concern is the pace. With several runners wanting to go forward, she may be working hard early and could weaken late over 1200m.
A very fast tempo should set up a closing run, and he has won over this trip. He has not performed first-up before, and he is slow away at times, but his trial was good and his stable is flying.

TABtouch - Burgess Queen Stakes
Her maiden and class three wins came at the trip, and the moderate pace with a lone leader suits a filly who settles handy.
Her Belmont maiden win was striking, with the Group 3 placed Lady Torque more than two lengths behind, and she has trialled well. The concern is the leap from a maiden to a Listed race in a field of 18 at her third start, and the step to 1400m for the first time.
Jedi Dream is the proven black-type filly of the race, having run fourth in both the Karrakatta Plate and the Sires' Produce, the latter over today's course and distance. She returned with a good second over an unsuitable 1000m first up and will relish the step up to 1400m from barrier 1 in a race that should not be run at a breakneck pace. She lacks a little winning strike rate but has the class edge over most of these and is a solid each-way play.
Perfume Princess has quietly put together two strong wins, including a sweeping 1400m victory at Belmont and a class three win at Ascot last time out where she finished off powerfully.

Brooks Hire (Rs0ly)
He has won his last three leading throughout, and each win was run at a level that would be good enough here despite the lower grade. He maps as the sole leader in a race with no other genuine speed, so Lucy Fiore should dictate a moderate tempo and kick clear on the turn.
That effort was up to the standard needed to win here. Dropping slightly in trip with 54kg and Chris Parnham aboard, the improving three-year-old should settle close enough to the leader to pounce if Please Mizter weakens.
His last-start second at Ascot came against better horses than these and he has already won over this course and distance. The big worry is 60.5kg on top after carrying 54.5kg last time, and a stable in a quiet patch.
Divine Inanna is the overlay in the race. Her last two Geraldton runs, a win over 1200m and a close third over 1400m, were both strong enough to win a race like this, and she gets in with only 51kg once the claim is applied.
